so 2day a "friend" comes over and tells me that depression has nothing to do with lyme's disease and asked me why am i stressed out about not being able to afford my depression meds. really? most days i cant move my hands, i cant take care of my kids, my family thinks lyme disease is making me crazy. my docters answer to everything is steriods, i cant afford to see a good docter. i am going to have a breakdown, i just wish people would understand, cant the see, when i started to feel sick i weighed 128 pounds and now weigh 104, pretty small for someone that is 5'7" i just wish i had support from people around me

Know-it-alls drive me crazy!! Everyone knows everything about Lyme, as long as they don't have it!! Puh-leeeze!!!

Ignore these idiots.

I'm sorry you're having a terrible time. This is an awful disease.

Find a good doctor. Find some alternative treatments you can do yourself.

Don't let these people make you feel bad about yourself. Lyme makes you feel bad enough. It's not like you need any help!

Jody, that "friend" is not a friend. A true friend makes an effort to understand. Sometimes it's us who have to befriend ourselves, like be our own best friend inside - we know what we're going through!

Maybe like Boxermom suggested, you could work on finding some alternative treatments you could do.
