Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning "God Thought" Friends,

This truly is the day that our Lord has made and we can rejoice. Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we can depend on His faithfulness. He is all we need, every minute of everyday, and He meets our needs, knows the desires of our heart. Hey, He is mighty to save and heal and everything else! [woohoo] (And imagine...He even uses people--like
God Thought" Friends--to help fulfill our needs and His plans day after day. How cool is that?!)

Our God....
Our God...
Our God IS THE GREAT "I AM"!!! [bow]

Be encouraged and blessed as you listen to

"I AM" Mark Schultz,

MDW,

This is an explanation I found regarding pouring water into the wine...not sure if this pertains to your church or not though...

God Thought Friends,

I could really use your prayers.

If felt like it was the right time to try communicating with a close estranged family member.

I had tried email 1 1/2 weeks ago with no response.

I had been thinking and praying for a long while about how God wants me to make a move to talk and resolve things.

Then in church on Sunday the sermon was about prayer and how we need to do our part and not wait for God to do it all for us.

I felt like God was talking to me.

So, I decided to send a text message today asking "Can we talk?"

I was hoping we could meet and talk.

To make a long story short, it did not end as I had hoped.

She was angry and said things via text that hurt me alot.

She would not elaborate as I asked, to explain her anger.

Instead, she just stopped the texting.

I feel more hopeless than ever regarding this situation. [Frown]

All I can do is pray.

I would appreciate your prayers.

Dekrator,

I am so very, very sorry for your hurt and hopeless feelings. Emotional I'm sure you are experiencing now. Remember that your hurt is part of the great controversy between Christ and Satan. And in the light of that cosmic conflict, God urges you to make a conscious decision to forgive the perpetrator of that pianful crime, and As long as you still carry the bitterness and resentment, you will never be free. You will forever remain a slave of the person who has hurt you.

We may not always understand why people choose to hurt us, God can bring something good out of our painful experiences if we make a decision to forgive.

I will pray hard for you and your family member.

MDW,

Thank you very much for the special song.

It was beautiful. Thank you for caring about me.

Without going into detail, the text conversation was very devastating.

I was hoping for resolution. Instead I was very wounded by her words to me.

They totally attacked my integrity for the last 20 or so years.

This is going to be tough.

Thank you again.

Good morning friends,

Daisy dear friend....Got another guestion for ya!

I was reading psalms in the bible... guess what?
God repeated Himself. I thought He didn't repeat?

Psalm 14 and Psalm 53 are the same? Why?

The seekers and who are wise are tha same thing right?

Psalm 14:2 From heaven the Lord looks down to see
if anyone is wise enough to search for Him.

Psalm 53:2 God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.

Both Psalm sriptures are almost identical from beginning to end.

Hi friends,

I am back from an out-of-town funeral.

The last 24+ hrs have been difficult....not funeral related.

Thank you MDW for all of your support!

I recently started making a page of my favorite scriptures compiled from God Thought posts. [Smile]

When I need comfort, etc I read them over.

I am adding to the list as I speak...or I should say, as I write.

I am reading them over today to get strength.

I am grateful for all of my friends here.

May each of you be blessed.

Hi Friends,

Wonderful to have a place to come and share our burdens, pray for one another, and watch expectantly to see what our God will do.

Dekrator, your prayer for MDW is so sincere and heartfelt. I pray in agreement with you...may God answer according to His Word and heal the diseases and take away the pain of MDW, as well as you, and each person who reads it.

On a more "earthly" /practical note are either of you detoxing? Are you dry skin brushing or taking hydrogen peroxide/epsom salt/ginger baths? To me it seemed crazy at first-this natural kind of stuff-but after trying it for myself, it sure made a "believer" out of me. I'm serious, it is helping big time!

Dr J says it is the toxin build up that actually causes the herx/painful symptoms and Dr. K calls it the "poop and pee" of the bugs. That's gross but sure makes sense to me. Have you read those links already? If you've not seen them, let me know, I'm happy to provide them.

Thank you for the link regarding the rite of mixing water with the wine. The various symbolic meanings were beautiful truths from God's Word.

I am so sorry the attempt to reconcile with your estranged family member "seemed" to have failed at this time. I have been in that situation, too, and it is painful, emotional, and heartbreaking. However, later, I realized that God had been "moving and working" the whole time we were estranged to bring reconciliation to each other and ultimately to Him.

Father, I pray for Amber now regarding this situation she has shared. Lord, God, You are faithful to bring healing in relationships. May You draw the family member to You bring healing in the relationship between the two of them. If there is something Amber can do...reveal that to her. Although the text messages have stopped may this family member be compelled to read these text messages and think about what has been shared. May you open the eyes of this family member and give this family member a desire to reconcile and be at peace with Amber. May a fresh relationship develop that is even better than the two of them have ever experienced in the past and more than they could have ever hoped for in the future. God, there is nothing impossible with You. We praise you for hearing and answering our prayers. You are a good God, a trustworthy God. May Amber rest in You and Your love now, and moment by moment. In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. AMEN

Dekrator in Psalm 3:3, "...the Lord is the lifter of our head." May He lift up your downcast spirit. And what a great idea to start a page of favorite scriptures....when you need comfort...That is a God Thought to you. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing that with us. His Word DOES give strength!

17hens, good to see you on "God Thought". You are an encouragement to us.

MDW, How long was I gone? You share about "...Christ and Satan". Oh, my, you sure are growing in your walk with the Lord. PTL! (Praise The Lord).

To answer your question, the Bible was written by individuals under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (have I lost you yet?) Smile. Just as we on "God Thought" share something more than once...God does the same thing. Also God does that to emphasize His point(s) too... And that is the short, simple, answer. Smile.

A good night's rest to each of you and may you wake in the morning feeling refreshed and hope filled in the power of His Love!!!

God, this week has been an incredibly difficult one for me, as I'm sure it has been for many others out there. I feel tired and I hurt, and my marriage is being seriously challenged. I lift up all these burdens to you along with my fellow Lymie's burdens, whatever they may be, and I release them to you and trust you with them completely, to take care of these burdens and heal them in whatever way you see fit. You are a BIG, AWESOME, GREAT GOD! I know how much you love us, your children, and only want what's best for us. I trust in you completely, Heavenly Father and pray that only Your will be done. In Jesus name, Amen.

daisy,

Wow, thank you so much for that wonderful prayer for me and my family member!! [kiss]

You said it so perfectly...exactly what I am praying for...that the family member be drawn to God and our relationship reconciles and grows stronger. [group hug]

I know we do not always understand God's plan.

It gives me hope to hear that you experienced this situation once too and God intervened and it all worked out.

Thank you also, for the prayer for the healing of my physical pain. I appreciate that too.

To be very truthful, no, I am not detoxing.

Not sure why, other than I am skeptical, and I wonder how much extra (beyond the hundreds I spend monthly on supps, etc) all the epsom salt, hydrogen peroxide, ginger, etc will cost to do daily or twice daily baths, etc.

Maybe you can help me there....cost? I haven't tried dry brushing either.

I think I'm also tired, emotionally and physically, so I haven't considered doing more.

I have looked at those detox links in the past.

When I find the energy, I will look again...you can post the links if you have time. Not sure I remember where to find them. Thanks.

I am also very glad to see you back home on God Thought, daisy!

You are a wonderful encouragement to me and others here! [kiss]

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Daisy,

Ok, I am trying to understand.
Psalm 14:2 and psalm 53:2 for example;
Can we say even though I trust God, I fail sometimes to seek Him and I forget many times how He has helped me, and that I need the reminder(repeat)to look to Him continually?

Is this what you are saying and God is saying by repeating psalms?

Just how many more repeats are in the Bible?
You know I can't just leave things alone!Big Smile. Sometimes I need more than simple...Sorry

Diane

MDW,

I know God repeats himself a lot in the Bible although I can't think of any particular examples right now. If you want me to, I could look into that further. Remind me next week if you'd like me to try that.

God certainly repeats his actions over and over (ie: forgiveness). I mean he is dealing with us humans who repeatedly mess up!

I asked my son about repeats in the Bible (he loves to study bible & history in school) and he said two things. First that God repeated Himself often just for emphasis alone. And second, he said ancient Jewish poetry (Psalms) derives itself from repeating structure (he couldn't think of the exact poetic term). I thought that was interesting.

Good Afternoon God Thought Friends,

Came across this proverb yesterday and thought it showed so much wisdom in these 2 sentences...

Proverbs 13:3

I have to post a praise report...

Indeed, Our God is the I am... and he is forever the same...

Through every trial and tribulation... He is still there...

This morning I got a call that I have prayed about for months... On August 9th I will get to see the doc that I have truly been led too...

By God's grace... my prayers were truly answered.

As a 39 year old SWF... I have to get well as I have many years to support myself... and in the last year, my foot pain has increased to the point
where I could barely walk... Needless to say, the devil was really working his magic...Fear was my middle name...

Your support kept me sane during some really dark times...

And as my Mom used to say... It is darkest before the Dawn and HIS WILL is to heal us...

Praise God! Thank you all for your support! So many of you have served as angels to me...

"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper, not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. " Jeremiah 29:11

Blessings to All... [bow]

copswifey, Sorry this has been such a difficult week for you. "God Thought" is the right place to come as we pray for each other and support each other. Good to have you join with us. Your prayer is beautiful...and a sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise to our BIG, AWESOME, GREAT GOD-you are an inspiration \o/

MDW, Thanks for making me laugh. You go girl!!! I am glad to be back too. "God Thought" is one of my favorite places on all the earth. BIG GRIN. Oh, yes, God does love us-with an everlasting love!!! [kiss]

There are so many repeats in the Bible that I lost count before I ever got started counting. LOL. Why? Because God knew I needed them! Seriously, you could ask me that on different days and I would give you different answers because God's Word is alive. (Yeah, here are some verses that will probably add to your questions, oh boy. [Wink] 2 Timothy 3:16-17). I am a glutton for punishment or Bible Study. [bonk]

Anyway, as I read scriptures, to me there is usually an obvious answer, and then there are answers revealed to us by the Holy Spirit to those who seek Him and His Word. For example, to see scriptures repeated, to me, the obvious is-God does know we need to be reminded. So I decided to go to Psalm 14:2 and Psalm 53:2 that you posted and I read the verses. What came to my mind is, "Yeah, that's true about me.

Then, I was on the same wavelength as 17hens "forgiveness"...

And then, "Thank You, God, that You sent Your only Son Jesus to die for me, to forgive me of my sins. Thank You, God, that you give me the Holy Spirit to live inside of me to help me walk in Your ways and not turn away from You." [bow]

17hens, I like what you shared about the Jewish poetry. Another thought about repeating of verses...Here in America, when writing, when we want to emphasize something we use the exclamation mark. More recently it has become all CAPS=shouting!

In the Jewish Culture I learned that when they want to emphasize something they repeat it. For the most part, God used the Jewish Culture in bringing His truths to the world. Beyond that there are probably so many reasons God did repeat in His Word, that in eternity we will still be learning them.

Anyway, MDW,tomorrow if I read those same verses maybe tomorrow totally different thoughts would come to my mind...or maybe in the next one minute. LOL

Oh, so, MDW, sometimes you need more than simple and other times "that daisy is just too complicated". I admit, God made me such a splendid mix of simple/complicated, glad you all put up with me. [spinning smile]

What a team we all are here on "God Thought".

OK, coming back to "earth"...

Dekrator, Thanks, it's good to be back home on "God Thought". Good questions. Yeah, stuff does get expensive. But the detox bath is worth it. Gary and I found that Sam's has the best prices for the Hydrogen Peroxide and Epsom Salts. Do not do the baths daily. I have found a regular routine of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings works out great. No more than 20 minutes max. And be sure to shower after your bath.

I know what you mean about being tired emotionally and physically. For me the baths actually give me energy and reduce pain. Although I haven't had much pain for a while now. PTL! I will TRY to post the the bath on "God Thought" after this post.

On the dry skin brush be sure to get a natural bristle brush as the synthetic can mess with the positive/negative charges of the body. Not good. Gary has both a short handled and long handled one. I have just a long handled one because I am so tall (not really--uh oh, I am getting silly now...or was it already happening [Big Grin] ). Anyway, the one I have does the job. We got ours from a health food store. Brand is Earth Therapeutics. Bristles are soft and not pokey or hard. They were $12 each, later we found them at another health food store (same brand and everything) for $4 each. Too late. I really like my dry skin brush. I have said now I know how a dog feels to get it's back rubbed. Ahhhhhhh. But I had to get the hang of it first.

Dekrator, the verse you share from Proverbs 13:3, "I need to print that out and hang it on my bathroom mirror and read it everyday!!! Truly Proverbs is full of such common sense, everyday wisdom.

So I'll close this post with a song that's been on my heart for several days. It may be a repeat, I HOPE SO!!!! [lol]

"There is none like You"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLK0Pdqr41I&feature=player_embedded

SO GREAT TO BE BACK "GOD-THOUGHT" FRIENDS!!!

PS: I exceeded the amount of images/Graemlins...there is a limit of 8. I learn something new everyday! Soooo...got to delete a few, I mean a bunch. Ooops. I was having so much fun too. LOL

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE/EPSOM SALT/GINGER BATH

Online there are various "recipes". We found everything at Wal-Mart (later Sam's..it's cheaper, however, the ginger still at Wal-Mart). This "recipe" and information is from Dr. J's book**

Ingredients:

* 4-6 cups Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate).

* 32-64 fluid oz Hydrogen Peroxide (3%, as found in grocery store).

* 2-4 Tablespoons of Ginger (fresh grated preferably) wrapped in a thin piece of cloth or in a tea ball. An old piece of nylon hose also works well.) I cut up a pair of new nylons, after grating the ginger/measuring it out appropriately, stuffed the nylon and tied knots at the ends.

Instructions:

* Dry Skin Brush entire body for five minutes before bath, removes the layer of dead skin for better absorption (Gary and I have our own Dry Skin Brushes.) You start with the feet working upwards, hands move towards shoulders, torso upwards toward the heart, back upwards and over shoulders towards heart. Light pressure in areas where skin is thin, and harder pressure on places like soles of feet. (Now that I've got the hang of Dry Skin Brushing, I think I'm addicted to it. Ahhhhhh! Now I know how a dog feels to get his back scratched. [Razz] )

* Fill the bath tub with WARM water. Then add Epsom Salt, Hydrogen Peroxide and Ginger "ball". Swirl water around, then get in the tub for 20 minutes MAX.

Shower off after wards so skin doesn't get dried out.

Gary and I both notice immediate results each time. Pain reduced or totally gone, nauseousness gone, plus more energy.

Actions of Hydrogen Peroxide/Epsom Salt/Ginger Bath

* Hydrogen Peroxide - a simple, nontoxic molecule of H2O2 that is beneficial in oxidizing (breaking down) toxins as well as killing anaerobic microbes. It will also detoxify pesticides and petroleum-based toxins and oxidize metals. Hydrogen peroxide is also naturally produced by macrophages in the body to kill harmful bacteria. Most harmful bacteria are anaerobic and cannot survive in the presence of oxygen or hydrogen peroxide. Cancer cells are often very sensitive to increases in oxygen and cannot survive in oxygen-rich environments. When hydrogen peroxide is applied topically to a cut, the resulting bubbling is from the rapid release of free oxygen and, more importantly, from the idling of the bacteria in the cut. Friendly bacteria are aerobic and need and thrive on oxygen.

* Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulfate) - Recent research has shown that when one soaks in a bath of magnesium sulfate, both magnesium and the sulfate independently increase measurably in the blood and urine. Magnesium sulfate helps stabilize Hydrogen Peroxide so that its ultimate breakdown into H2O and free oxygen is more gradual and functional to the process of benefiting the body. This research documents the very real beneficial aspects of this bath therapy. The Epsom Salt Council reports the following about the benefits of Magnesium in Epsom Salt baths.

Magnesium, a major component of Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate), is the second-most abundant element in human cells and the fourth-most important positively charged ion in the body. Magnesium also helps to regulate the activity of more than 325 enzymes and performs a vital roll in orchestrating many bodily functions, from muscle control and electrical impulses to energy production and the elimination of harmful toxins.

The National Academy of Sciences, however, reports that most Americans are magnesium deficient, which may account for our society's high rate of heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, arthritis and joint pain, digestive maladies and stress-related illnesses, chronic fatigue and a host of other ailments. The Academy estimates the average American male gets just 80% of the magnesium required for good health, while females get only 70% of their recommended levels.

Nutritionists say Americans' magnesium levels have dropped more than 50% in the past century.

Raising magnesium levels may:

+ Improve heart and circulatory health, reducing irregular heartbeats, preventing hardening of the arteries, reducing blood cots, and lowering blood pressure.

+ Improve the body's ability to use insulin, reducing the incidence or severity of diabetes.

+ Flush toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances.

+ Improve nerve function by regulating electrolytes. Also, calcium is the main conductor for electrical current in the body, and magnesium is necessary to maintain proper calcium levels in the blood.

+ Relieve stress. Excess adrenaline and stress are believed to drain magnesium, a natural stress reliever, from the body. Magnesium is necessary fore the body to bind adequate amounts of serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of well being and relaxation.

Sulfate: The "sulfate" part of the Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate). This form of sulfate must not be confused with "Sulfa" drugs, to which some people are allergic. People who are allergic to sulfa drugs will not react to sulfate in Epsom Salt. The benefits of sulfate in the body are summarized by Dr. Rosemary Waring of the School of Biosciences, in Birmingham, England:

+ Oral supplementation of Sulfate cannot be easily absorbed across the gut walls; therefore, by soaking in this bath, sulfate can be more efficiently supplemented. Sulfate is essential for many biological processes.

+ Sulfate is needed for formation of proteins in joints; decreased sulfate levels are common in the plasma and joint synovial fluids in cases of arthritis. Sulfate is also low in people with irritable bowel syndrome.

+ Sulfate is necessary for sulfation, a major pathway in detoxifying drugs and endogenous (toxins from within the body) or exogenous (environmental ) toxins.

+ Sulfate is necessary for the repair and formation of brain tissue. Reduced levels of sulfate can lead to faulty neurological connections and subsequent dysfunction.

+ Sulfate is needed for proper digestion and for proper utilization of digestive enzymes.

+ Sulfate is essential for the production of mucin, a protein which lines the intestines. Mucin stops food and drugs form sticking to the lining of the intestines. It also blocks the transport of toxins from the gut into the bloodstream.

* Ginger - functions to open up the pores of the skin and increase the blood flow at the surface of the skin so that the oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide can do its work in detoxifying poisons and kill bacteria and fungi. The pores open wider so that the magnesium sulfate can be more readily absorbed. Ginger is invigorating and can stimulate preparation for the elimination of toxins.

Good Morning,

This has been a great week! So glad to be back home. I am so proud of myself as it wasn't until yesterday I finally unpacked and started on the luandry. Of course, I did get the "toiletries" out...gotta have my makeup. [lol]

I usually get everything done right away...but decided there were just other more fun things to do...so I did them.

Since I was off work...I do work today and will be getting ready to leave soon. Since the sun isn't even up yet, I thought this would be the perfect verse to start the day.

"From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised" (Psalm 113:3). \o/

Father God, Thank you for a new day to live, give, laugh, and love. I praise you today for You alone are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. Touch all "God Thought" readers with exactly what each needs at this moment. Bring hope to their spirit, renewed vision for health to their mind, and bodies that are being healing by Your touch. In the beautiful, all powerful Name above every name, Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Off and (not running) LIVING, GIVING, LAUGHING and LOVING in this new day through the power of His might. [Big Grin]

daisy,

Thank you so much for posting all the info here for me about the baths, supplies and where to find them, etc.

I appreciate your help. Sometimes I can be hard to convince.. [bonk]

I will gather the supplies during this next week and try it....I promise.

Can you believe that one reason I have been hesitant is just because I am not a "bath" person, I'm a "shower" person? Never liked sitting in a bathtub. [shake]

Oh, well...if it helps my pain, it will be worth it. [woohoo]

I watched "There is None like You"...that was beautiful! Thank you for posting that.

Psalm 113:3 is lovely!

Your prayer for God Thought readers was touching. I tried to slow down and take in every word. I so appreciate it.

As always, daisy, you are a blessing to me! [kiss]

So glad you are back in the normal God Thought swing-of-things now!!

Have a wonderful day...I'm off to pick up my grandsons. [hi]

Amelia, So glad to read your post. This morning when I read Dekrator's post after mine, I thought, oh, I missed Amelia's post. How did I do that? Awww, I see we posted at about the same time and I did not back up to see it there was another post added (that does happen from time to time).

What a great praise report! Sharing good news like that encourages all of us. [Smile] Rejoicing with you that you're going to be getting into the doctor that you wanted. August 9th, that's soon. GREAT!

The truths you share are inspiring. AMEN! Our Almighty God IS always with us!

I know what you mean about the devil's "magic"...and about fear...Thank God for His everyday "miracles" and that "His perfect love casts out fear".

The protocol I'm on, Dr. J (KS) has written a book*. In the introduction is my favorite quote of his, "My desire is to see you liberated from the fear of Lyme Disease."

When I relapsed again, I could feel myself being sucked into "fear-mode" then I remembered Dr. J's quote and thought to myself, "No, I will not fear Lyme...or anything else, by God's grace."

What you share, "And as my Mom used to say... It is darkest before the Dawn and HIS WILL is to heal us..." AMEN!

I praise God with you and thank you for being an "Angel" to us!

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses. We are His people with His plans for a great hope and future. [woohoo]

Have a blessed day, Amelia. I look forward to reading your posts on "God Thought". You are a blessing! [Smile]

dekrator, I am so glad you are here and responded to Amelia. I missed her post.

I pray the bath helps you. Gary has more pain than me and he noticed the difference even from the very first bath. You say that you were "hard to convince"-I think Gary and I hold the record. Smile. We didn't even read the "alternative/wierd stuff" posts until it was the last option. [bonk]

I am a bath person, but since I have been, by God's grace, living in each moment and enjoying each moment (including something as simple as a shower) instead of living life in Hurry-mode...recently, I was taking a shower (something I did when in a hurry) and I couldn't believe how I'd "forgotten" how good it feels to have the spray hit my back/body. Oh, WOW, I am so glad I have slowed down (to God's normal pace) and am enjoying...even shower spray. [lol]

"There is None like You" has been my theme song this week. I have it up on my computer and listen to if often. Our Lord is so beautiful. Praise His Name!

As always, dekrator, you are a blessing to me!

Yesterday, late afternoon, we got our grandson. He is sleeping right now. Soon we'll all be getting ready for church. Yes, we are so blessed. Children, and grandchildren, are a gift from the Lord.

Have a blessed day!

daisy,

Bet you enjoyed your time with your grandson! [kiss]

We spent alot of time with our 2 grandsons this weekend too. Whew, I'm tired!

Like you say, they sure are a blessing, but this "Nannie" gets worn out! [Big Grin]

I love "At the Cross" that you posted today.

I was just watching that video on Friday too and I cry every time!

Watched it again just now and cried again!

How unbelievably awesome to think that no matter what, God loves us! [bow]

I just love that line in the song..."I know You love me."

It just gave me some inspiration to help a friend going through a hard time....my mind is working. [dizzy]

Once again you have blessed me daisy, and God Thought has blessed me!!

Time for beddy-bye...

[sleepy]

Hi Everyone: Thank you for making me feel so

welcome here. I cannot begin to tell you how

much that means. I went to church tonight and

asked some folks to pray for me and he said the

most profound thing. He said, " Amelia you need

to ask God to give you His Courage, Strength and

Peace and as important as that you need to ask

Him to help you RECEIVE it." Well, I prayed that

prayer and felt moved head to toe and when we

finished praying, this song was playing:

Our God - Chris Tomlin

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlA5IDnpGhc&feature=related

And then as I left church, I see this beautiful

silver lining... And come home to find all of your

wonderful posts... God is so good. Thank you

all for being an example of his AMAZING LOVE...

Blessings to all... [hi]

Amelia,

So happy to see you here again! [hi]

I appreciated reading what you wrote about asking for prayer at church.

It struck me also...maybe I "ask", but I'm not always in the state of mind that I should be in, to be able to receive.

I'll have to think about that more, so I am open to recieving God's courage, strength and peace also.

That's a great song you posted, isn't it?

A few lyrics from "Our God":

"Our God is healer'

awesome in power,

our God, our God!"

God finds all sorts of ways to heal us...and sharing here on God Thought is definitely one of them!

You have blessed me today!!!

Dekrator, I did have a blast with my grandson. I tell you, he is the most inquisitive child I have ever met and very observant. The only person I know that asks more questions (or atleast as many) is my husband [lol] (so I know where he gets that from).

Children and grandchildren ARE a gift from the Lord.

"At the Cross" I agree that is an amazing song...so hope-filled. WOW! Thanks for posting that!

This truth from that song has changed my life!!!:

"Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me"

So glad your mind is working! That's always kinda nice, I kinda like that too!!!

Blessings!!!

Amelia, Top of the morning to you dear! Great to see you back and reading your praise report.

It is so good to have a church "home" like you have. Nothing like brothers and sisters in the Lord praying for you.

Jesus talking: "I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:19-20, NIV).

The Lord sure worked that song out perfectly to bless you big time. That is another great song that I am so inspired by!

Thanks for sharing what God is doing in your life...builds our faith. [woohoo]

Examples of His Amazing Love...Oh, yeah, I like what you shared a lot!!! [Big Grin]

Blessings to all for a great God-Day and God-Week.

Off to starting a new "God Thought" thread.
