It's terribly unfortunate. Imagine how high that 4% actually is when "Chronic Lyme Disease" enters the conversation between most doctors and patients with this condition.
The most the patient pushes for respect and for something to be done to address their suffering, a quick escalation of disrespect, intolerance and abuse become the cornerstone of the event rather than cooperation to help the patient find answers and get solutions.
Ignorance doesn't change the consequences. They're *******s and arrogant when they abuse patients like us.
