Well, I've been at it now for a little over 5 months...
and I have to say that I'm doing a pretty convincing job...
for the most part!
I've also been off all meds for a few months just trying to get back to a baseline after 7 years of intense therapy. I think my body REALLY needed a break. Heaven knows my brain needed a break from the endless scheduling of pills, creams, sprays, shots, liquids... etc. etc.
Every now and then I still need extra time just to recoup from a very long work week. Every now and then I still get a symptom or 3 creeping back up again. And every now and then I do get days when I think I will never truly be OVER these diseases...
However, I AM doing so much more than I ever thought would be possible again... so an off day here and there is expected, right?
Even when you aren't pretending to be normal, right?
Sure miss you guys... M

You would have enjoyed the marathon today.
13 hours and 18 bushels later and the corn is in the freezer. Least wise we needed a baby holder,,, a few to hold and play with,,just 5 of them underfoot today!!!

Miss you too Melanie. I was just thinking of BBB the other day and wondering how he was doing.
Glad to hear you are doing so much better than before. Being off all the meds and supplements is good too.

Hey Acorn! Sorry to have missed chat- again. I'm pretty worn down by nightfall, but hope to make it at some point. Please keep asking, OK?
Hello Don! How lovely to be surrounded by all those sweet little ones and sweet corn too. Such a great family and so fortunate to have you as Popa! Please pass on 'Hugs and Hellos' to everyone for me, will you?
Miss Katherine! I DO hope that you are feeling better today? My heart sure goes out to you when I hear you are having a rough time of it. Please kiss Rosie and know you are in my thoughts and prayers, always.

Apparently, i've been "pretending to be normal" for decades. Unsure what "healthy" will feel like. It will be something new!
