Does anyone know... if I switch our coverage from my company's health plan with Anthem BCBS to my husband's plan with Anthem BCBS, can they still use my son's claim history from my plan to deny further treatment under my husband's plan? Since both plans are Anthem BCBS, I am wondering if they can do that? I'm not sure if they have any particular guideline on how long they will cover oral abx and they haven't denied yet (6 months so far). But... he had some tests recently that may have raised the red flag, including an MRI for neuroborreliosis (which was of course normal).

Anthem has a bad record with lyme patients and I see no reason why your son's records which are in their computer would not be accessible regardless of which employer was involved.
They have a medical guideline for Lyme and IV, not sure what they have for orals.
