I'm trying to buy a business. As part of a bank loan I was asked to have life insurance. I am posting this because when I searched around here I noticed that there were many who had issues getting life insurance.
I am actively being treated for Lyme. When this was discovered (I fully disclosed it), I was initially denied. I found 3 compananies, however, that would cover me. They are, TransAmerica, Northwest Mutual, and Assurity Insurance. I got a $1M policy with a "preferred" rate (not top of the line) through Northwest Mutual. I did get a letter from my Lyme doc, not stating that I didn't have Lyme, but that because of my overall fitness and treatment, that I was very little risk for disability and less for death.

That's great to know about the life insurance. I haven't tried to get life insurance, but was turned down for long term care insurance. It would be interesting to see if anyone with this diagnosis has been able to get it.
