Okay, so as some of you know, I have been having a rough time finding a doctor who takes my insurance and who is willing to look at me. Well, although I did not find an actual ILAD, I did find a doctor who is currently treating my father for his MS that is fully willing to restart lyme testing on me and do what is needed to help. She knows a little about the disease and said she is open minded and willing to look at the information I have found on length of treatment and different tests I need to have.

I will be honest, my mother told me what this doctor said and I broke down crying. A lot of you may know the feeling I had. Just last week I told the person I talk to about all of this that I was giving up on trying to find a doctor even if it meant I would be sick all of my life. And with the stress of everything else lately, I was in a very low place. This news felt like the weight of the world was finally lifted off my shoulders. I know it's just the beginning, but I am overjoyed to finally be getting this looked at again.

I would just like to thank all of you for your prayers and support. I will keep you all updated on what is going on. If any of you need any prayer or just an encouraging word, PM me. You all have done a lot for me in this short time that I've been here. Thank you again. [Smile]

I do hope you will continue searching for a LLMD because that is what you will eventually need. The more time you waste on drs who don't know much about Lyme, the sicker you will become.

I know you are hopeful this is going to help... and I am hopeful too...But I'm also realistic as I've been on this board for 10 yrs now and have heard all the stories a thousand times over.

Ask this doctor to test you through Igenex Lab and then be sure to come back here and post your results. (your green dr may not know how to interpret them...seriously)

Be sure to get test #188 and 189 thru Igenex.
