Hi I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that I have lyme, babs, maybe bartonella
but tests have not been confirmed - only have sxs

I am a member of mdjunction too and post there frequently, but wanted to rejoin this board since two years ago this is where I started on my lyme journey.

I was doing well with antibiotic tx until about May of this year, when I started having new sxs that I had not experienced. Now I am feeling pretty bad and on a more aggressive antibiotic tx plan and treating babs presently with mepron.

So here I am, still battling lyme along with you guys and trying to live some kind of normal life.

Hemobartonella positive 1/11

Welcome back!

Two years of treatment is not excessive. I'm glad you're tolerating abx and going more aggressive.

I've been treating for 2.5 years and have many, many "good" days now. I hope that's in your near future.

The biggie is that "here you are"...and you're battling. You haven't quit. Hopefully the abx will kick the new sx behinds and you'll start feeling better!

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'
