I scour local thrift stores and bring the best (cleanest, cutest) to an inner-city elementary school w/ the majority of students classified "at risk." Also buy up quality books and board games in good condition for these students...

The principal & teachers are so psyched when I bring donations! And the students are, like all children, beautiful angels...

If you don't make a connection here, apljack, maybe you've a similar school in a city near you? Or find out how to make donations to a homeless shelter that allows children, or to a "safe house" for women & children fleeing domestic violence.

Just ideas,
Smile

More may open this if you change it to "Stuffed Animal Giveaway".. or something like that.

I thought you "needed" stuffed animals!! [Razz]

I'm sure you'll find some who would love to have them. Thanks for offering!

Our soldiers definitely have a need for them if they are around the size of a beanie baby-
