Just came from our last LLMD appointment. He wants my 16 year old daughter to start doing weights or isometric exercises.
She has a Wii that she barely uses and was about to sell it.
I'm not really sure about how to go about starting a weight or isometric program. Any ideas? Any way the wii would come in handy?
We don't have the fit board (she wasn't able to stand when we bought it - what a long way she has come!)
Thanks for any help!

There are other games on the Wii that get you up and moving a little bit. I like to play the bowling game (it's the only way I can bowl, b/c I have a bad back..and I love to bowl!). I've actually broken a sweat playing that darned game. There's the golf game, tennis, and I don't remember what all else. Can't do those b/c it still requires a swinging action.
But maybe it would help? I haven't personally checked out the Wii Fit, but I would really like to.
And wonderful that she's come so far!!
