Just get better.... or at least "improved" health this year. I am a little better, but not by enough, and I had years that were better even since I've been sick. I'd like to get to at least 60-70%, but I am shooting for 100%.
I've been thinking about how horrible this past decade was, both for me and for many. I am ready for a new and better one!

I want my health to continue improving.
I want to serve God and deepen my faith everyday.
I want to help others as much as possible.
I pray that all of our family's relationship problems can be resolved.
I pray that my son and his fellow soldiers return safely from Iraq.
I pray for peace and for the safe return of all military members around the world.
I pray for all who are sick, suffering, lonely, hungry, afraid, poor or weak...that they will have their needs met through the grace of God.
I pray that the truth about Lyme disease (and other tick borne infections) incidence, diagnosis and treatment will prevail, and treatment will be easily accessible by all who need it.

Obviously our health, finances, sanity, continued friendships, etc -
And that we get ready for the national exposure to the truth when Under Our Skin comes out on TV and cable in May -
to really be ready with May Lyme Awareness activities of any kind, and June Lyme Awareness follow-up, etc!

I don't know about others but these posts give me hope.
Trying to think of some fun things to do or things I enjoy while I lay here for too many days now.
1. To be able to go for a drive in the car and be well enough to enjoy it...back roads of course..scenic area's.
2. Be able to walk in the forest more frequently and explore other trails in the area. I am Ok with 10 min walks...would just like to be able to do them more frequently.
3. Get a comfy pair of winter boots that I can walk across the creeks when they become to wide to step across and that keep my feet warm.
4.

Merrygirl...your post put a smile on my face. I wish that for you too!
randibear...you too. One thing I have learned with having this illness is the lack of tolerance for negative, mean, controlling, etc people.
At first I kept thinking there was a way to be around them and wondered why I could handle them when I was healthy and can't now.
But, then I realized I would have been better off not being around them healthy and especially sick.

I want to be more than just ok. I hope I find a solution that helps not only myself but maybe others. I pray that I'll find hope when I'm a world away from peace.
This tension and resistance is unrelenting sometimes in this life, and I believe I have the strength to keep moving. I want that for others, to find relief.
I want to live on purpose. I want to choose who I'm gonna be. I want to be in tune I want to move and be moved
I believe it is possible for all who are divided, broken hearted, complacent, and tired, to be mended and inspired to move beyond whatever trauma, ill health or difficult relationships or other events have found a way into their lives.
That's all.
