Lymetoo, I remember that snowfall well. It was 13". I still have the pictures. It was AWFUL. I don't think the city even OWNED a snow plow! Talk about paralyzing a city!

We got two measly inches here. YAY! I lived in Michigan for 3 years, and saw enough snow there to last me the rest of my life. Literally. I couldn't care less if it never snows here again. My son enjoyed it, though.... [Smile]

I finally found a good use for cold weather.. especially designed for lazy people.

Here it is very cold in the house- constantly. Upstairs is about 10 degrees warmer though... so I stay upstairs much of the time.

At the end of supper and dishes, I rush back upstairs to keep warm... but I am too full after eating supper to have a touch of ice cream before scrambling up the steps.

I just figured out- if I put my ice cream in a small plastic container with a lid...

I can set it on the window sill outside and keep it frozen for at least 4-6 hours!

Hey! That beats hauling the refrigerator up the stairs, which I WAS tempted to do!

[lol]

You guys want a real laugh? This left me shaking my head.

I live in PA, for pete's sake, you know, a place that does occasionally get a good snowfall.

Well, last week our lovely school district called at 5:30am (standard procedure) to announce that due to inclement weather there was a 2 hour school delay.

Then I heard the plow going up and down the street, so I figured we must've got dumped on.

It started getting light out, and I peeked out the window...and could still see grass under the snow.

So I went outside and measured. We BARELY HAD AN INCH.

I thought, what the heck is this place coming to? We gotta plow an inch? Don't they remember last winter when we had like 4 FEET?

Talk about weiners!
