MDW,
I enjoy reading everything that you write. You ask the best questions....things I should be asking, but don't think of.
You are a very smart thinker and writer!
You write from the heart and speak honest, innocent words. I appreciate that. I learn from you.
If we were all the same here, it might get a little boring, so thank you God, that we are all different...and you have just the right uniqueness that we love to keep us on our toes.
Maybe Joyce Meyer's book, "Power Thoughts" would help you...like you don't have enough to read right now....smile. I have not read it.
Thought I'd share some of what I heard in church today...The Beatitudes...
Matthew 5:1-12 (NASB)
The Sermon on the Mount; The Beatitudes 1When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. 2He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
3"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5"Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
6"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
8"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
10"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
12"Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

HorseHelper,
Congrats on the great volunteer work that you are doing, and getting your article published.
You say.... "to share what power there is in helping another when I feel like doooo doooo sometimes".
Amen to that! I couldn't agree more.

Good morning friends!
Looking out my windows, I see pure white snow, with more on the way.
May you feel the Lord's pure love, hope and peace today.
Lamentations 3:22-26 (NIV)
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, ``The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.''
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; 26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Good Evening,
Was blessed by all of your posts...once again. Great scriptures and stories! Encouraging!
Dekrator shares from Saturday, "You (daisyrlb) are a super encouraging God Thought posting machine this morning daisy!" [lol]
That really got me laughing. Yeah, and I haven't had a chance to get back sense. ...and I loved that TREErlb.
MDW, I'm so in agreement with everyone else about your posts. I love reading them. You share your heart in such an innocent, wide-eyed child kind of way. FYI, your mother was wrong, very wrong. You are special and precious to the Lord. (I tried to copy and paste the up and down "yes" Graemlin here but it failed. Ha!)
There is a verse that has been so very helpful to me. It is Proverbs 1:4, the first part reads,
"These proverbs will give insight to the simple." Another translation uses the word "wisdom" instead of "insight". Another "prudence".
I am not saying I know it all or that I always do the wise thing, but I can say that God's word has changed my life in an amazing way. I am a simple minded person. I worked hard for every "C" I got in school. I was not a lazy student. God's word is true. And His Word has given me wisdom that I would not have known.
I am so thankful we are reading through God's Love Letter together this year.
You present questions that I haven't thought about or haven't thought about in a while. It always gets me thinking...and that's good.
On a side note, but something you all will be glad to hear...I haven't had Lyme brain for ages. Thank You, Jesus! Although I am on a protocol Jesus IS The Great Physician...my Great Physician...and I'm so glad!!!
sammy, You are an encourager my friend. It really is so great that God knows everything...well, He is God!!!
Hens, Thanks for passing around God's love. I feel it, I feel it, I feel it (O, boy, I'm getting tired and silly now.)
HorseHelper, you are a blessing here. Great reading about your name. You're so caring. I just said a prayer for you regarding setting up a Lyme Support Group. Awesome! We are in this together...Together is better because there is strength in numbers. Look forward to your article. Great you're using your gifts...
Hey Friends, after all, using your gifts...that's what God wants us to do. He's blessed and so are others! That's a crazy thought to think we bless God. Ha!
Other subject, you're not going to believe this (but you will) that 72 degree weather in Oklahoma is changing big time. The weatherman says we're expecting a BLIZZARD tomorrow. Snow up to 12". That's unusual for Oklahoma.
I just may be forced to stay home from work tomorrow. Pray our electricity does not go off!
Blessings all, peace, rest well, and keep warm. FYI, be careful too!

Good evening daisy,
I was blessed reading your post.
You always entertain AND bless me.
I am praying that you will be safe and warm there in OK. We are also going to experience bad weather here in PA.
There is an advisory from 1 am Tues until 1 pm Wed for snow, sleet and freezing rain with thick ice accumulations possible.
Our grandsons were over for a couple hours this evening.
When we were eating our dinner, Deven (age 7) expressed his fear that the electricity may go out with the storm.
I think he remembers when the electricity went out in his neighborhood one evening in December.
We assured him that they will be ok.
Hopefully all will be well by Thursday, when there is a talent show at the boy's school. We are looking forward to that.
Looks like this is a big storm that will affect many across the US. Prayers for all affected.
Be safe daisy, we need you here!!!!
You say "Blessings all, peace, rest well, and keep warm. FYI, be careful too! "...
...and to that I say ditto!!!
Goodnight!!

Dekrator,
It is interesting what children remember. Our seven year old grandson, Beaux, has been sick. We haven't seen him for a week and a half. Sure miss him and his baby sister. He's been home from school and now for the next few days school is canceled.
That big storm affecting many across the US, well, here in Oklahoma it started snowing with ice mixed in about 1/2 hour ago. Already looks like 1/2" has fallen. It's not supposed to let up anytime soon.
Well, I guess that's it for tonight.
Blessings all! Posts: 2188 | From Oklahoma | Registered: May 2008

I have had a great weekend, HH.
Yesterday was our oldest son's 35th, THIRTY-FIFTH!!! Birthday...unbelievable...time has raced by!
Had a nice lunch with the family...plus today they're coming over after church. We're hanging out and watching the Super Bowl together.
I love getting together with my family.
One of God's greatest gifts is FAMILY!
We still have snow on the ground and expecting more this week. We'll see.
Keep warm and stay safe.
Have a blessed Lord's Day! Posts: 2188 | From Oklahoma | Registered: May 2008

Oh, enjoy the game! We're having another couple over, I'm not thrilled. I don't want to be negative, but I am selfish about time alone in my home, unless it's my 24 yr. son.
Because I very seldom see him, due to being mentally ill, I welcome him. Gosh I love him to pieces.
I have a coffee mug from school (age 5 or 6)which the class put their pictures on. The other day, I teared up looking at his little turtle neck that I put out for him to wear to school.
Yes, times flees! I have learned to tell my friends and family " I love you" all the time. We know not how long we have and expressing what others mean to us is a vital part of existing.
God Bless you and fmily today, thinkin of ya kiddo!

I don't think I watched one play of the game...between talking with my family, holding and adoring my three month old granddaughter, and playing with my seven year old grandson. Ha!
Sure enjoyed the commercials.
It was so funny...we would talk DURING the game and when a commercial came on, one of us would say something like, "Hold that thought..the commercials on."
Awwww precious memories of when our children were little. Thanks for sharing that.
Well, as we ooh and awwwwed over little Estella...I went and got her daddy's baby book out (that daddy would be my 35 year old), we compared pictures...awwww nothing like memory lane when our children were little to put a tear (or two, or three, or more) in our eyes.
Our family, too, is very "I love you"...and say it every time we get together...along with hugs and kisses.
Hope you're sleeping already...that's sure where I should be. I work tomorrow at 7 am!
Thanks...and same to you...God bless you and your family.

MDW, private msg. me. I'll try and figure out how to send you my stuff.
I'm not very good at this, really! Copy and paste if not working at times.
I will certainly share. Thx. for taking an interest.
Know why I do it? It makes me
I always feel better doing for others, it gets me out of me!
I'll keep my own baggage, I don't think I can handle another's baggage.
Blessings. hh
