Dear Borrelia Buddies,
I was searching for something completely different, and came across this: http://www.soapcentral.com/amc/news/2011/0114-morgan.php . This actress was on "Charmed" as The Seer. She was excellent! This post probably belongs elsewhere, so feel free to move it to the proper catagory. Finally this illness is getting some decent press!

Sincerely,
Jin

She makes it seem like "It's not big deal, she'll be just fine." So, hopefully that's the case for her, but it sure isn't for many of us.

Dear Metallic Blue,
I was as annoyed as you were about the minimizing of Lyme's seriousness. It floors you how people refuse to accept the truth. What is it going to take for people to understand? No one appears to care when they are not uninsured and entirely debilitated. Of course, soap actors are paid over $400 per day. They are not like the rest of us where watching every little penny counts.

Dear lymednva,
I bet you are right! Some surprises are not good ones. She has a lot of money, though. Poor people have a much less accessible medical care system. However, some people have more money than sense. As a result, they waste a lot of time and money on treatments that do not work because they do not know what is good for Lyme and what the doctors say is.

Sincerely,
Jin

Well, she's on Oprah right now and looks great. Laughing and giddy... and so far, no mention of having Lyme Disease.

edit:

After seeing her today, I can see why so many people think Lyme is no biggie. You would never know by looking at her and watching her laugh and have a good time, that just last month she made this big announcement that she had chronic Lyme and has had it for decades.

If I didn't know better, I would come away thinking it is nothing at all to fear, because Debbi Morgan had it and she looks fantastic and is full of energy. The people moaning and groaning about Lyme must be wussies.

Sorry. I'm cranky today. [Mad]

Plus she got married last year. Hmmm, what does that say about the rest of us?
