I had my first phone consult with my doctor last night. We talked for over an hour and she is puzzled as all my test for now are negative except for an elevated ANA 1:640 Titer, Homogeneous.

There are a few from Igenex that she hasn't received so waiting for those. She thinks I have an infection but isn't sure what.

The treatment for now is to stop everything, vitamins etc. and to start on a small dose of ceftin every other day , a fungal/yeast pill (duflican not sure of the spelling) and increase my probiotics. even thought the ceftin made me so sick she wants me to try a baby dose every other day. She also is going to consult with another doctor for metabolic support treatment.

She was sure I had Bart but the test was negative as the many others such as food allergies, celiac disease, hepatitis, HIV and all the ones she sent to igenex but some she wanted a retest or more testing. Lyme hasn't been ruled out but she isn't sure even after going over all my symptoms.

So back to the waiting game but I will try the meds. As she explained the small dose of ceftin is just breaking me in as I will have to have an abx to get rid of what infection is going on with me. My CD7 is ok as she put it.
She does think I have some type of auto-immune going on which may be lyme..

Thats all I know for now, oh this waiting game.I think if it was lyme something would have shown up, waiting for Igenex.. Maybe I have an overgrowth of yeast...

Did she have the Igenex Lyme test back? Or is that one of the tests you are still waiting on?

Well, now you have a starting point. Start taking back your health and don't let this thing keep you down.

I'm glad you finally have a doctor and are getting some sort of treatment plan. Let us know what else she finds out.

Yes, she is waiting on more test from Igenex. But for some reason she doesn't think lyme.

How are you doing these days??

Will start the diflucan and watch what I eat and hope for the best.

Wow, phyl, she sounds really good. Very thorough and thinking it thru. Good for her.

It's great that you are going to do just as she says. She seems very trustworthy and you need someone to trust. A good match!

I'm glad you've taken the first step. That's how to live this life, right? One step at a time.

You say: I had my first phone consult with my doctor last night. We talked for over an hour and she is puzzled as all my test for now are negative except for an elevated ANA 1:640 Titer, Homogeneous.
ALL MY TESTS NOW ARE NEGATIVE: Important in past were you positive with any doctor? Just for the records the tests with the what I call el cheapo labs are only 50% reliable plus...Igenex is I think the best lab of what is left. Several yrs ago the crooked so called conservative side actually tried to knock them out of business.
I hope she checked off their new epitope band 31 test...if one shows band 31 on western blot either IGG or IGM one is kicked over to epitope test which is 99 or 98% reliable. It tells if one has late stage chronic lyme. It came out of a study at Columbia University by Dr. brian Fallon...

A lot of even lyme literate drs. are using alternative herbal medicine to get rid of the biofilm forms..if you want information on that you can e-mail me for now.

Lipanz, Test results, I had a positive IGg 41 and a IgM of 23 through Quest Western Blot with my GP I have also had the elevated ANA and was sent to a rheumy to rule out lupus.

Most of my labs are being done through Igenex and she is waiting on more results.

Hoping to hear something soon.

I am very interested in the herbal medicine when I know exactly what is going on with me.

Tks.
