So I am so excited, tomorrow I am finally going to get this line placed and the whole thing settled and move onto this new phase of treatment!!

I went last week to have it done at a local hospital, but long story short, they wouldn't do it because the prescribing Dr. doesn't have rights in their hospital, and also she is an ND, not an MD, they are NOT friendly to Naturapaths!

So tomorrow I am going to my Dr's office where I will have it placed! I am hoping everything goes fine and comes together smoothly for us!

I would love any prayers and thoughts you guys would give!

Praying for you, sickntired, that all will go well with your PICC placement and you have great improvement with your treatment and will feel very hopeful!

Thanks guys! At this point I am more freaking out about being away from my bed for 2 days. Since we have to go 2 hours to have it done and then 24 hours later have to be back for the first dressing change, we got a hotel.

It was even my idea but now that i am here, I am so super sick right now and I don't want to even leave my bed to go get the thing placed!! Ugh...you know its bad when you can't wait to get back to your bed when you haven't even left it yet! And it is only going to be for less than 48 hours....

Thanks guys for all the prayers and thoughts!

Good luck,and best wishes!!

My pick line instalation was a riot.

They were breaking in a new nurse so they used a Lyme patient Me.

They ask ,do you want a sedative first,I said no way.

She got it in then let go of the end and squirted blood over the top of her rubber Gloves
she freeked out that she got lyme blood on her skin.

Her eyes were as big as saucers.

I thought it was quite funny!!
