Here is BettyG's (now a day over 20 - ) response to all:
robin, thank you so much for starting my 62nd birthday wishes post that was hilarious of your rhyming my name to SPAGHETTI!! i'd never have thought of that one!
there were more than i thought that might take the time to stop and say hello to me!
i'm doing about the same, but now don't get to bed until 3-7 am daily! lyme has messed me up really bad on that part!
i'm trying to get my diabetes 2 under control & under 7.0 on A1C; higher nos. make me eligible for stroke/heart attack around 75%!!
trying to get back on a walking routine to LOSE much needed weight. windy days i don't have to worry; i will not blow away!
i miss you too; have many wonderful memories of many of you. i do like what i'm doing now.
i skim here briefly daily for any updates on activism/news to bring to our www.mdjunction.com lyme board to help other lyme/co members.
so i've seen a few of your posts on you having problems, etc.
BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL ON OVERCOMING THE OBSTACLES and advancing to REMISSION!
thanks ladies: pam, robin, dilly for making me younger.
i've always been an 18 yr. old in a 81 yr. old body!
geneal, lou, and daisy, thank you for your special notes & poetry daisy!! "fretty" lol
tf, dekrator, putnam, hambone, joalo, sammy, and tincup; thanks. if i forgot anyone, sorry, i've been going up/down & get lost over & over!! not my strong point.
LYME CAR IS A TEAMWORK EFFORT FOR DR. J, kids no. 1 llmd in usa!!
tracy9, so you remembered my original BD "ditties"! lol thanks for encouraging folks to do what i always did; improvise on the spot.
dilly, thanks for your sweet note about me being the best "welcomer" to lyme boards! it's what i still do best! hugs.
just don; you sweetie pie! you haven't changed a bit! thank you for your many kind words; hope your foot whatever was injured is healing well.
hubby recovered from his broken ankle well; since xmas, he is now losing his memory; so say some extra prayers for us since he's hard of hearing w/1 good ear too.
MDW005, thank you; glad i was able to give you a much needed hand when you were starting your lyme/co-infection journey!
iowa's bettyg, lyme friend
i'm glad to see metallicblue/michael is redoing what i started on compiling info together to help us all! hope you all can contribute what you can for a VITAL guidelines helping the newcomers and we oldies but goodies!
