The IDSA seems upset (evidenced by their never-ending whining) that we don't lay down and let them walk all over us.

It seems they expect patients to be "dumb" and just take their word about Lyme disease, as if they are the ultimate bosses and what they say goes- even if we see awful results following their "recommendations".

To that I say...

We don't go to the IDSA carrying a couple of dead chickens and a jar of canned peaches to pay our bill.

So get with the program- at least enter this century- and realize we are a lot smarter than you counted on.

We can actually READ and think!

OK. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Then maybe they shouldn't have published for twenty years that Lyme is chronic, able to evade blood test detection, protean, neurologic, and transmissible to the fetus while speaking out of the other side of their mouth to the public.
