Good morning all.
Its Erika aka Deaffromlyme. I had to change my screen name since my lyme brain did not allow me to remember my old password./... Anyway things have very much gone down hill for me. I started treatment did it for 6 months and failed as I could not handle the meds.... I think I really set myself back by stopping treatment cold turkey. I have had many health set backs since and now need to get back to getting helathy. I need a new doc so I will post in seeking doctor but just wanted to say hi and see how everyone was.

Hey there, Erika!! Sorry to hear that you couldn't handle treatment. You may need to try lower dosages this time.

Do you have coinfections?

Sorry about this. Yes, I remember you.

I wish the people on other recent threads who were talking about quitting meds would read your post on this subject. Guess they will learn the hard way.
When I complained in the past that the drugs "weren't working," meaning they weren't curing me, and stopped just briefly, the symptoms returned. Then it became clear that working meant holding down symptoms, if not curing, and I had to change my expectations.

Best of luck with your treatment.

Thanks all! Glad to be back... Well sorta? I guess not because I'm symptomatic again but to read about all of you..

Lou, Thanks. Yes I experienced the same as you.. but I also feel like because I started then stopped my symptoms have come back much worse. I have had many heart problems that weren't there before etc... and I wonder sometimes if its coincidence or if its the Lyme "coming after me again for messing with it" [Smile] You know what I mean?

I have a question and please forgive me for not knowing but its been a while since I've been on here.... I haven't seen any posts from BettyG? Is she still on here?
