I am new to Lymenet and I need some help. I was diagnosed with Lymes in Jan 2010 and started abx. I started having neurological issues like memory loss, tingling in head, pain in neck, teeth so I went to a inf disease dr that told me I had a past infec of Babesiosis. Put me on Mepron & Zitro for Month. I felt better for 2 mths and symptoms came back. I have a seen a neuro and my inf disease that just put me back on doxy but the tingling in my head has gotten worse. I also just went for 2nd opin to Dr.N. in NY and he is telling me that I don't have Lymes. Any suggestions? I have a reactive IGM 23 band and IGM 41 band.

Good lyme docs up here. Go for it. You'll be ok, just get on treatment. Even though you are on, you may need to switch to something stronger (but not too strong). Supposedly slow and steady wins the race, but when you feel bad, that doesn't help. Talk to you soon.

Find another LLMD.
Sounds like you need a long course of Mepron/azith/artemisia and other meds as well.
It won't happen fast. Stick with it.
