I have been struggling with what I think is lyme, for almost 3 years now. I have been getting treatment for a little over a year and I see no improvement. I spend each day in severe pain and constant feeling of flu like symptoms.

I've never tested positive for lyme with the "standard" testing, according to the Cleveland Clinic I didn't even have 1 positive band. But all of my problems started after getting a tick bite.

I have been to every "ologist" and they all agree that something is wrong but can't agree on what it is.

My llmd says I have lyme, but everyone else says no. I know that most dr's don't know anything about lyme but I am afraid that if there is something other than lyme I am not getting treatment.

I thought by now I would be seeing some improvement, but most of my days are spent lying on the couch. I struggle to do my job, I don't even think I could apply for disability because no dr. can even decide what's wrong with me. My llmd wont even write a letter for me. He says I'll never get it because I am too young. I am sure the stress of losing my job doesn't help my health.

I don't know what to think any more, I feel like there is no end to this and my life is falling apart. Some weeks I tell myself it's lyme and that's it, don't think about anything else. But then some new problem happens and then I start thinking "what if"..

I know that so many others have struggled for so much longer and I really should be thankful that it's only been 3 years, but damit I want my life back. [Mad]

Have you looked into metals or molds? These can cause many of the same symptoms as tick borne diseases.

Have you tested for mycoplasmas?
HHV-6

Take some time off and detox.

Get a new doctor.

See an herbalist, naturopath or some sort of alternative practitioner.

These are all just suggestions. I am not a doctor.

May health be with you!

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began.

Tested negative for metals, no mold.. I am not sure about mycoplasmas or HHV-6.. I have had a million tests done so I am sure they are in there somewhere.

I am on my 3rd LLMD already...

Thanks for the suggestions though.
