Am I herxing or being attacked by the bugs? I never know the difference. Each day I feel really bad in a different way it changes all the time. I'm too out of it at this moment to write more than this and give more details but if anyone has anything come to mind, any insight on this, let me know.

Thank you!

Try to drink lemon water and alka-seltzer. Some people have good experiences with "Toxin AbsorbMax" and similar products containing activated charcoal and bentonite clay.

I have the same question as jalama.

just switched from Omnicef and Zithro to Plaquenil and Zithro. Feel worse and how does one know if it's because the Omnicef was helping and it was stopped or it is from a herx? I don't even know if you can herx from Plaquenil as it is just supposed to help the Zith work better, right?
If anyone has an opinion I would welcome it cuz can't decide whether to go back to Omnicef and stop Placquenil or not.

Diagnosed with Lyme and Bart - still always doubting what is causing such debilitation.

It's usually a herx .. at least that is what I found out after treating for 4 yrs!

Beagle.. plaq can make you herx because it supposedly kills a few cysts. But .. it would be more likely that you are herxing from the zith.

After awhile you will actually see patterns. You will be able to tell if it's a herx or is it time to switch up abx to something different.

I used to have to switch up every 3-4 mths. Resistance vs herx. Keep notes on sx. It helps.

Beagle,

I too am always doubting/questioning what exactly is causing this level of debilitation as my symptom, main symptom, is overwhelming, gotta-lay-down-all-day fatigue. I feel that way on abx, and off abx, and also when I'm on herbs, and not on herbs. I have never discovered a baseline. Just unrelenting fatigue. But I haven't taken anything in the last week and I'm feeling slightly better. I'm going to add things really slowly and try to find patterns and figure it out.
