How many have one? How long have you had it?

I have a temporary one. My doc says he will give me the necessary paperwork to get a permanent one. I only use it on my bad days, when I have to go somewhere and cannot walk far.

I got one last September. I can't drive and am rarely able to leave the house, but on the rare occasions I do, having that sticker makes a big difference. It makes the the difference between being able to go somewhere, and not.
It was really fairly easy for me to get (was able to do it all by mail/fax). I'd say go for it if its something that could help you feel more capable of being in the world. Mine is permanent.
I knew when I got it that I still wouldn't be able to leave the house very much, but decided that if it could help me have even 1% more ability to be "out", it would be worth it.
Good luck.
