I just got my results in! (Course I don't know how to read this, gotta wait for my husband to come home for translation...) but because i can't wait:
it looks like the tests that were ordered were: ANACS, CBS, CMP, ESR, T3, T4F, TSHU (I don't know what this means, I was so out of it when I was in there last...)
BUT almost everything says negative. The only positive is the IGM/IGG AB. ok, duh?
the brain and cervical spine MRI all say normal (there's no mention even of the allergic reaction I had to the contrast stain, which the attending Nurse, Dr, and mri tech all witnessed with alarm, and said was documented...
and what is this now... i'm on the "upper limit of the normal reference range for Glucose...." so pre-diabetic?
???!!!
good grief...i just need clarity so i can move forward.i mean i feel GREAT right now, but i don't think it has anything to do with the meds, so I'm going to stay with what's working for me...(i just want to have an MD on my side 1st.ugh.i like my primary, but he's not a LLMD...)
means probably going to Rochester as opposed to Syracuse if i want to do the CD57...is there anything else out there more definitive?

I recently had several of the same labs run so I may be able to help a bit but your dr, obviously would explain so much better than me!
The ANACS, I'm wondering if its and ANA titer which is used more by rhuemotogists. A high titer (above 1:80) indicates the posibility of an auto-immune disorder. From my understanding, many people with lyme can have an elevated ANA titer.
I'm curious if the CBS is possibly CBC, which is a general blood count panel. If it is CBS, I'm not sure what that is.
CMP is a comprehensive metabolic panel which tests organ function. For example, it tests the liver or kidney function.
ESR tests for inflamation in the body. It's non-specific. Doesn't tell where the inflamation is, just that you have it. Rhuemy's use this too for their auto-immune disease patients.
The T3, T4, and TSH panel is just a standard thyroid screen to check out the levels of thyroid hormone in your body.
Not sure if this helps at all but it sounds like a very non-specific work up. Kinda a shot in the dark hoping to find something. At least that's my experience with one of the first docs I saw!
