I was invited to 2 birthday parties this weekend, fri & sat, one is in NY & the other in conneticut, they're at night,... I really would like to go because im only 20 & still want to be able to have fun.. But i dont want to feel like im pushing myself too hard... What would u do?

I think you should push moderately and rest afterwards. You could go to the first party and then see if you feel like going to the second one or not.

I think its very easy for us to isolate ourselves; I have done that myself. But it is so bad for us mentally.

Life is still happening all around us and we should try to be in it as much as we are capable of being.

I think it's about managing our limits - both what we can handle and not handle. Try to make more of both happen. Sometimes it can mean asking others for assistance in helping with both.

For example, in your case - it could mean inviting someone else to drive so you don't have to, or staying over the night so you don't get too tired - whatever your needed parameters are. Beyond that, we take chances.
