Hi folks:
So...today, May 10th, marks 1 year of treating lyme & co for me. Wow..what a year.
I have to say..even though I am still in treatment, I am so much better off today than I was a year ago. I'm 95% most days and am just chasing a few, mild remaining symptoms.
Mainly..mild tinnitus, mild muscle twitches (mainly calves), mild night sweats, and mild left foot pain.
I think we have finally zeroed in on Bart / Babs as the cause of my remaining symptoms. When I'm on Factive, like now, my muscle twitching is pretty much gone. I have started artemisinin and my night sweats are much better.
So..still treating lyme, Bart, & Babs..but I am living a mostly normal life and feel great most days. I hope to be in remission and off meds later this year.
You can get well!!

Congrats!!! My year of treatment is just weeks away. At this time a year ago, I was a real mess!!! I've come so far. Like you, I'm chasing down the final symptoms. I'm hopeful I can call myself symptom free sometime in the next 6 months to a year.
It's always good to hear success stories. Best of luck!

I needed this today. 8 months today for me. Lots of pretty good days but lately not so great. Maybe another couple months will push me around that corner. Thanks for sharing !
