I don't know about you but I've pretty much had it with the enormous influence the IDSA (Immoral Depraved Scoundrel's Association) has in perpetuating the suffering of untold millions of people with Lyme; most of whom don't even know they have it. The website for their proxy organization of disinformation, the American Lyme Disease Foundation (ALDF) is rife with so much slick, smarmy double speak surpassing anything George Orwell could have ever imagined. They even go so far as to provide a PO Box in Lyme, Connecticut in their contact info when in fact the IDSA is located in Arlington, Virginia about 15 miles from CIA headquarters at Langley.
So the big question is why does this small group of ``doctors'' dedicate so much of their time and effort to a disease that they claim is not a very significant problem to begin with? Why don't they have any websites dedicated to any number of other infectious diseases that they should be dealing with like Chlamydia or Tuberculosis? To answer these questions, one need only reference any number of sources that indicate quite clearly that we are all collateral damage in a Cold War bioweapons experiment gone out of control.
During the Cold War, the US government conducted bioweapons research at their facility on Plum Island. Borrelia burgdorferi was one of the agents tested as a possible bioweapon. And where exactly is Plum Island? Well lo and behold, it's off the coast of Connecticut about 30 miles as the crow flies from Lyme, Connecticut. The facility was supposedly closed down by the Nixon government in 1969 and the first reported cases of Lyme disease started cropping up in 1975. So how did the infected ticks get from the island to the mainland? Despite the fact that any wild mammal seen on the island is killed on sight to prevent contamination on the island itself, Plum Island has osprey nests, bluebird boxes and kestrel boxes scattered throughout. All of which are migratory birds. Quite interestingly, the very first thing mentioned in the so-called ``misinformation'' tab on the ALDF website is a vehement denial that Lyme originated on Plum Island. How odd is that?
Just so you know I'm not making any of this up, check out the links below confirming the obstacles we all face as hapless lab rats in a world gone mad. I am fully aware that merely mentioning these things places me square in the category of nutball, half-crazed conspiracy theorist. But quite frankly, how else can one explain the numerous measures taken by organizations like the IDSA and others to mount campaigns of disinformation, suppress treatment options for Lyme patients and actively seek out and persecute doctors who try to treat people with Lyme Disease?
As always, the big question is who benefits from this convoluted tale of misery and woe being perpetrated against the human race? First of all, the American military gets to test out what is in fact the perfect bioweapon on an unsuspecting public. If you combine inadequate testing for a disease with over 400 strains of the causative bacterium and at least 100 different manisfestations ranging from ``MS'' to ``Parkinson's'' to ``ALS'' etc., you get a situation where over 90% of the people who have Lyme Disease don't even know they have it and never will. Imagine dropping that on an unsuspecting ``enemy state''. They would never know what hit them. It wouldn't even be a question of assigning blame because they wouldn't even know what was going on. It's the perfect crime.
The other beneficiary in all this of course is Big Pharma. The ``multiple sclerosis'' (MS) market alone had total global revenues of over $6bn in 2008. Those revenues will exceed $9bn during the second half of the next decade. Add in all the meds sold for the other 100 or so ``diseases'' that are actually Lyme Disease and now we're into the 100's of billions of dollars in annual revenues. Lyme is big business.
So go ahead. Call me a conspiracy nutjob if you want. As you do so, however, I would appreciate it if you could provide an alternative plausible explanation for all the seemingly never-ending volatile politics, controversy and countless ruined lives caused by one tiny little microscopic bacterium. There don't seem to be any other infectious diseases out there causing so much distress as this one. Also, please take note that I didn't write any of the books or articles provided in the links below. I'm just another guinea pig passing on information that is freely available online. Cheers!
