Thanks to the help from the great people on this site. I have made an appointment with an LLMD for my son. We will have to travel but it is worth it. Unfortunately, the appointment s not until August 31st. I guess we have waited seven years for answers, what is a few more months?
Thank you for all of the suggestions. It has been invaluable.

Good for you. Start taking notes on questions to ask.
Write everything down. You won't be able to cover everything on your list but at least you might ask 1/2 the questions you have.
Sometimes LLMDs give you write-ups for specific stuff like diet and alternative stuff that the patients report to them as things that help.
So overwhelming the info you are trying to retain. I used to try to jot down key words.
Then I would wonder why I wrote that key message down?
