Can't imagine your strength and suffering. Take care of you and don't be afraid to ask for help from medical establishment, family, friends.
Just someone to sit with you and talk anytime would be nice. Sending prayers you have a human being with compassion helping you thru this.
Take care of you.

Hi everyone,
I am still here, but trying desperately to find the right method to get off this drug. I feel awful most of the time, lots of anxiety and panic. Also, insomnia.
Wish I had never taken the %$*& drug. The doctor actually told me it was safe and that's why they prescibed it.
Thanks for all your prayers and support. I will probably not be on lymenet as much, am having a hard time funcioning,
but will check in periodically with you all. You are my best friends.
Take care and God bless.

Having a very rough time, this is awful and the withdrawal takes a very long time. Sometimes I just wish the Lord would just take me home. I am no good to anyone anymore.
My kids are both playing in a talent show at church camp tonight and I can't even make it our of the house to go. I can hardly function.
Really scared about what the school year will bring.
Will I be able to be there for my kids? It terrifies me.
All seems hopeless. The md says he's never had a pt like me (as bad) on 2 mg. He doesn't believe me and thinks I have been taking more. I tried to say it was probably the lyme, but of course, he just brushed that comment off.
I pray none of you will ever let your md put you on this stuff.
I am afraid it will take a miracle to save me now.
Thanks for the concern.

Linky - Please hang in there! This is temporary and it will pass.
Also there are some good forums that are focused on benzodiazepine withdrawal. Benzobuddies.com is a popular one. Have you expressed your troubles to a forum like that?

you're strong and by gosh, you can do this. take it a hour by hour if you have to.
when i get like this, go hide in the bathroom, turn off the lights, take a bath..whatever...
my doc wanted to increase my elavil and i said no way, 10 mg is enough for me.
