I'm going camping at Cimarron Canyon State Park in a few weeks. It's abuot 7500 feet. Anyone know what the tick situation is around there?

If it's a wooded area, look out! Is it anywhere near Gallup, NM??

Gallup is in the far west of NM almost in AZ. Cimarron SP is in the north east. It's about a 6 hour drive give or take I think. Why do yo ask?

I know there are tons of ticks in the Gallup area. Just don't go hiking.
