And I'm a bit bummed about it. I woke up today with horrible back pain...in both my lower and upper back. The lower back pain subsided a bit but the upper back pain is HORRIBLE. It goes across my shoulders and into my neck.
I thought I would be okay and that it would get better as the day went on. Nope. I went to reach for something above my head and it must have shown on my face how much pain I was truly in.
MY manager...who saw me trying to reach...convinced me to just go home. I was hoping I could just suck it up and get through to 7. I was trying to tell her I would be okay and my eyes just filled with tears. Very emotional today, it seems. she must have noticed the horrible twitching on my lip and eye as well. Seems that is acting up again.
I've actually been feeling rather crappy for around two weeks now. Not sure why either. I thought maybe a herx, but this seems to be lasting rather long. I feel worse than I did prior to starting treatment.
I keep telling myself that in the end things will be okay but that just isn't cutting it today. I'm having a pity party for myself here.
What annoyed me the most was a snide remark from one of my coworkers about me leaving. I wanted to say something but just let it be.
Anyway...I really just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

I am glad that your manager was in tune to your situation and that she was supportive in your going home early...rest is best when you feel so crappy.
Sorry about the snide comment, but there will always be "little" people out there that are not compassionate...just one of those irritating situations...hope you can forgive him/her.

Thanks bridge! I hope it passes too. Hope things are going better for you.
True about the patience momindeep. Everyone who knows me knows very well just how darn impatient I am too! I've gotten a bit better though.
