I also enjoyed listening to this.
Did anybody else think that the last email question was very suspiciously worded? It was like: "I had a rash from a fungal infection on my skin and I went to an ILADS doctor and the ILADS doctor gave me long term antibiotics for the rash, and I suffered many serious consequences from the long-term antibiotics."
If the person knew that they had a yeast rash, then why in the world did they go to an ILADS doctor? Furthermore, if they knew that their rash was from yeast, why didn't they object earlier to the long-term and expensive abx treatment, especially after they started having negative side effects without any signs of the rash improving? Something just wasn't right.
It sounded like something that came from the IDSA guys. Too bad they didn't disclose the sender's email address. It was probably like: [email protected].
