If anyone out there have used Cumanda, please advise.
I took one drop in AM and one drop in PM. Next day fever, worse "want to die feeling" hopelessness likely just from suddenly being so much sicker. But now, questioning my sanity because is it even possible to have a really bad herx from just 2 drops in one day? I stopped taking it just in case it was causing the misery but still so much sicker two days later. Embarressed to say, but a lot worse wishing to die feeling. Hoping and praying it could just be a herx and will go away. But - my brain says, "really? Only 2 tiny drops? Doubt it."
Thanks for any advise with this,
Beagle

I could not handle cumanda.
I do know others who started out really slow...a drop once a week I think.
I did not try that.

Cumanda also works for parasites, so you might look into this topic.
Two drops can make you sick, I could tolerate cumanda well but got very sick from one drop of another oil.
This is medical - many people know cumanda.

Some antiinfectives cause EXTREME reactions. Cumanda was not to terrible for me, but I herxed to the point of tears when I started treating initially w/ doxycycline , then later with bactrim I was miserable 24/7 for six months . I cried a lot with both.
Artimisia or artimisinin are also powerful for many here , and I have read many reports of progress with these herbs in particular .

My understanding was that Cumanda treats Bartonella or Babs or both (anyone know for sure?) I ordered it on line by Nutramedix.
I can't take it because just one day, 2 drops, I was too sick to function at all for the next couple of days.
Lymetoo, I guess no need to move to medical unless you think it's important. Just from these replies here, I'm thinking it likely was a huge herx? Guess I'll just have to keep hanging in there waiting to see LLMD in October.
Thanks!

If you do try it just do one drop the first day.
start very slow. I am fine with resveratrol also.
I still don't even know for sure if the Coumanda caused me to get so sick. I never took it again and gradually after a few days I was a bit better. Not alot, so how to know?

I would suggest for you to stick with the one you herx as it is working , if you react to one drop than that is the strain that need to be treated .Just take one drop only until you get over it to take more.

Agree with Karen about it hitting parasites. Also manybites suggestions to stick with it. It most likely is a herx.
You can dilute the drop in some water and sip it, so you won't have such a harsh reaction, and see how you do.
Parasites/worms can play a MAJOR role in Lyme disease and are often overlooked. Google parasite symptoms and do a search.

I was on the Cowden Condensed Protocol for four months and Cumanda was the hardest on me.
My naturopath has started me on 1/2 drop twice a week on things that are hard to handle. One drop twice a day may be too much to start.
(to do 1/2 drop, put one drop in a little water and drink 1/2 the water).

It was my understanding that the Cowden protocol stopped using Cumanda because it was so hard to tolerate. I think they started using Enula instead, but I am not positive about that.

I remember reading somewhere that when you take herbal tinctures in small doses it really acts more like homeopathy and that is why you get a reaction.
I think the comment I read was in regards to redroot. Hubby takes 2 - 4 droppers (30 drops per dropper) 2 times per day. But the case I read said just to take something like 3 - 5 drops. I have never tried that with him but it would sure be cheaper.
