The cancer is focal, non-invasive, and they believe local excision is all the treatment that will be needed.
It's a wake up call! I am going full tilt immune support and lifestyle support. I am in good spirits and believe I will come out the better for all this trouble.

Sorry you have to worry about more medical issues on top of lyme and co!
I know you have the strength to pull through and you definitely know how to eat right!

Susie,
That must have been so scary for you. Just a note to let you know that you might want to look into digestive enzymes and antiparasitic tx.
Check out Hulda Clarks "The cure For All Cancer" She believed that parasites are behind cancer along with other toxins.

I have an appointment with a breast surgeon on Tuesday.
I am just so damned relieved that I won't need chemo or radiation (on top of abx, just starting Lyme treatment) that I could dance. If I had enough energy!
Also. so many of my friends have been so supportive, I just feel loved. How could that not be good?

Good luck! Good news about the treatment. I can relate to the double whammy--was diagnosed with lyme and polycystic kidney disease in the same week, both completely unexpected when it happened. Wishing you well!

Had lumpectomy on Monday; doing fine. My breast looks like it went a few rounds in the boxing ring, but other than that, I am ok.
I think I am feeling better with my antibiotics. Just a nice, sustained 20% improvement in my fatigue and pain overall. I'll take it!

Susie, I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through, and I hope you heal quickly. Do you know about LED light therapy? It can speed the healing of wounds, three to five times as quickly as usual.

Thanks, Carol...I will look up LED light therapy; I've never heard of it. I don't have much of a wound, actually. The surgery was really nothing compared to what I've been through with my spine.
I am very happy to report GOOD NEWS! The final pathology report came back and there is nothing further funky to worry about. No chemo, no radiation. All gone!
My next health goal, besides dealing with this Lyme & Co., is to lose 25 pounds before having elective surgery for my uterine prolapse and urinary problem.
To life! Susie

This is a collection of links to studies about LED light therapy. Many of the studies call it "low level laser therapy."
Many people here bought the SOTA LightWorks after hearing that LED therapy can also kill spirochetes. The PE-1 is much stronger, and is more expensive.
There are other LED light therapy units available too.
