Spent almost a year with the LLMD not to mention the cost and feel I have no answers, not improved and like its a guessing game as what to do.

Everytime I talk with the LLMD seems it is a different story.. Never has my notes etc. I am going to make an appt. with my MD and go from there.

All my last test were negative by Igenex except for one positive IgG .. The IgM negative, co-infections, babs , bart etc. The answere I got was you have probably had lyme since you was a child , you can chose to treat or not to .. Heck I am 69.. So I say treat but my rx are neve called in.

My only symptoms now are like I have a cold and some sinus/ear issues that come and go along with derpession/anxiety..

Oh dear me what to do? Tks.

I absolutely love my current LLMD, but my previous one had a few issues.

When we spoke, he never seemed to get my history right.

A few prescriptions were called in or given that could not be taken with medications I was already on.

Things like that.

I liked him as a person, but I never completely trusted him as my LLMD.

Of course, we want to get better, so we want to trust the docs who are supposed to know what to do.

As far as you being 69- I think age doesn't matter when it comes to improving your life. So I agree with your decision to treat.

Is there another LLMD in your area that you can talk to and get advice from?

You have to go with your gut and if you feel your LLMD is not adequate, don't feel bad, just move on!

I am hoping there are some other drs nearby where you live..
