She was moving things around in the front room and stumbled over some things and went down really hard.

We don't think she broke anything and she immediately took some pain pills and started icing things.

With no insurance it doesn't do much good to go to ER or doc-in-a-box as they will tell her to stay off her feet, pain meds and ice - all of which she is doing now.

Thanks

Glad she is ok. I fell a month ago, and I had sore spots for over a month.

More gentle hugs to you both...

Hello <<<<< Lyme Family Commiserators >>>>>,

Thanks so much for the prayers and caring, first time I am able to get in our office chair for more than a couple minutes[ sitting on anything harder than a pillow hurts ].

I hit pretty hard when I fell, everything twisted, and right hip, knee, wrist, ankle, elbow, and shoulder all got the worst of it.Left hand and knee are sore too.

I had taken out the air con' unit and slid it onto it's little shelf where we store it. Then I went to put some things back on the extra wide window sill.

The skinny phone chord, that I had moved,so the air con' wouldn't pull the phone offline, didn't stay where I had put it.

Thank the Lord it didn't happen while I was sliding the air con out of the window. But as I was putting things back on the windowsill I got my foot tangled in the phone chord/wall line.

Next thing I know my face went down our office chair, while I was grabbing air,and everything was twisting to the right.

Right wrist and hand De Quervains tendinitis is flared up, right ankle tendinitis is flared up, right rotator cuff issues are flared up, and etc.

My right side has always been my weakest, but I hit the left side of my face, and probably the back of my head ?...still have the neck and head pain.

Weirdly enough, except for light bruising on right knee [ have an old cartilage injury that is flared ],and light bruising on the front of both ankles,we haven't found any more bruises...

[well minor bruise above my right elbow too w/ small scratch].

So in the middle of it all, I am having sinus/ respiratory issues,of course...

Still I am so glad it wasn't a worse injury situation. It is painful, but I could have done much more injury to myself when I fell.

Will be feeling sore for quite awhile I am sure, trying to get headache under control...

Thanks again for prayers and caring commiserations... to each replier, and all who prayed.

Will try to check back in tomorrow,

Jus' the Silverwolfi

Hi <<<<< Lyme Family Commiserators >>>>>,

Going to try a short car ride w/ TxC',still pretty sore, I've mostly stayed on couch or my 'sleepy chair'[a nice overstuffed easy chair].

Many of my joints are still swollen, and some w/ lt. bruising.

Aside from the stiffness, soreness, and pain, the most troublesome event since I fell was evening before last...

... I had 'seizure like tremor' in my left hand, w/muscle twitching...it was very painful. Perhaps sympathetic to right hand/wrist w/ the tendinitis issue?

Still have a bit of a headache and my vision blurs a bit more than normal for Lyme and Co's...but I need to get out for a few minutes.

TxC' went to PT by himself yesterday and did fine, tho' he was tired after. I don't like for him to have to go places alone [ w/ vision in only one eye].

I usually get the wheelchair out for him, especially since the aneurysm[right common Iliac] and repair back in April.

He is trying to walk more but gets tired very easily. I cannot lift much of anything right now... but onward we go...

It'll be nice to get out for a few minutes and enjoy the changing colors of autumn.

Er... I was gonna say changing colors of fall...but since I fell the color changes aren't so pretty [ tho' thankfully it is only lt. bruising].

Well we gotta take off for a little bit, while it is daylight...BBL

Thanks for prayers,and commiserations!

Jus' Silverwolfi

Jus' me, Silverwolfi,

We arteth back from our bit of a jaunt in the car... we wandered about for most of an hour.

The leaves are changing quite prettily,as long as one doesn't look up on the hill above us at the burned areas...which all to soon will be covered with sooty white stuff.

It is cold here at night, and the temp changes over the course of each day, tend to make both TxC and I/me feel more achy. I can definitely tell I fell a few days ago.

Well at least the sun was out for our little czar[er uhm...a...car that's it yeah] trip today!

Somebody must be moving the letters on the keyboard around...

Jus' Silverwolfi and TxC'
