GiGi

I just lost my husband at 59 yrs old two weeks ago. We would have been married one year last week and I know how much pain you are feeling.

My husband was not sick, after an accident a drug was given to him in error that caused him repiratory failure. While in the ICU they found he too had lyme and babesia which contributed to his breathing issues.

I, like you, feel like my heart has been ripped from chest. He was taken so suddenly and no matter what the age or how long you love someone, the pain is the same.

He too carried me all this year while I was trying to treat my lyme and I depended on him for everything. They are both God's special angels and were sent to us for some very important reason.

I pray that they have met in heaven, free from all pain and both looking down on us and watching over us..The day will come when we are together again and the party will begin for us all. Much love Ann

You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all he's left,
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
Or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday,
You can remember him only that he is gone,
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
Be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what he'd want:
Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Love to you Gigi, a faithful and true friend.

Dear Ann and Gigi,

God hath not promised sun without rain

Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day

Rest for the laborer, light on the way,

Grace for the trials, help from above

Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

from "A Day of Private Prayers"

by John Baille

I found this among my mother's things after she passed away. She had a very strong faith and I think this little poem helped her through some very hard times.

Take care and God bless. You will be in our prayers.

I'm crying right now and I do not cry often. Jack and Gigi you are in our prayers.

It is my belief that music CAN heal a heavy heart.

This music is very powerful.

You Ain't Alone

quote:
You aint alone, so why you lonely?
there you go on the dark end of the street
are you scared to tell somebody how you feel about

somebody? are you scared what somebody's gon think?
or...
are you scared to wear your heart out on your sleeve?
are you scared me?

cause i'm scared the bomb gonna take me away...
oh, but i really don't know what i got to say...
alright!

1-2-3, are you to scared to dance for me?
bite the bullet or tug my sleeve?
or are you scared out on your own two feet?

we really aint that different, you and me.
cause I'm scared the storm gonna take me away..

but i really don't know what i got to say...
hold on....hold on...

cry, if you gonna cry
come on, cry wit me.

you ain't alone,
just let me be your ticket home....
