Thanks all, my therapist (who kicked babs) called me and told me I should back down. She has been through this and she feels like I am pushing myself to toxic levels. This is so not me, I am a very positive person.
I know it is the disease talking but wow I cannot believe how bad I feel. All of your responses helped me alot. I have decided to back off for a few days and start back at 1/2 doses. Gonna go a little slower and easier.
Thanks again for all of the support, it means so much xoxox

Hi flutterby, I like your sig. line.... 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
I miss you on God thought, I invite you to come visit with us. you know what? The deeper we press into the Lord, the more of His perfect love we experience, and the less fear we have.
Psalm 36:9 says, "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light." Sense that His presence is with you to give you peace. There in the darkness of this disease, reach up to God and know that His mighty hand can reach forth to yours faster than the speed of light.
Praying for you, and I am here for you, flutterby. Hugs.

So sorry. Backing off is a good idea, and maybe add some extra detoxification for a few days. Maybe even a massage. Hang in there. It's worth it when you come out the other side healthy. Trust me. I was on the verge of giving up plenty of times, but I knew all that meant was not treating and feeling worse.
I mean, what kind of choice is there, treating and feeling worse, or not treating and feeling worse? No choice. But at least with the treating there is the hope of feeling better eventually.

I hear you..I have 4 kids and I'm scared every day. I hope your feeling a bit better now. Backing off is a great idea. These strong meds can make us very sick. Sicker then we ever imagined. Slow may be a better option for you. God bless.

I am ok guys, just checking in. I am still pretty dizzy. Last dose was yesterday morning. Not sure how long I will stay off. Hope I get some relief tomorrow. So I can just take a break. My head hurts and I feel so weird, like drugged !!
I also have a cough that has lasted 5 weeks, I have trouble breathing sometimes when I am at work....strange.
Thanks again for all your support. The songs and prayers are helping. This is a tough one to treat but I am one tough chic, and my God is by my side. I will never give up.

I am new to this site. I was diagnosed with possible Lymes in April 2011. I've had problems starting in high school and am 52 now. My CD57 count is 27. I have a very weak immune system. I also had major detoxing when I went on the first antibiotic. I feel sad for anyone dealing with this but am so glad to find this site. I feel like I'm not so alone. I have found that extremely high amounts of probiotic are helpful. Do you have advice on this? I am so sorry for the sadness. I also have four kids and it's been very hard.

Elaine - I love my job, it is so perfect, flexible and easy. How do I tell my boss? I know they have a mold problem. They leak and we get water all the time. They know it too, but I am not sure they believe it is dangerous. And they do not know I am sick and I dont was to make any enemies. How can I do this without losing my dignity or my job??

What about your health???? and the health of everyone that works in that building?
Is anyone else sick?
I would mention to your boss that you cough and feel sick when in the building and feel better when you leave the building.
I would bring up the leaks and possible mold contamination and that you are concerned for the health of your boss and co-workers working in a possible sick building.
They don't have to know you are sick from Lyme but I would bring up that you are affected working in the building.
A urine mold test would prove if you have mold posioning.
I don't believe that you would lose your job by bringing up a health issue like mold poisoning. If that happened, I believe you would have legal recourse.
You might be surprised that your boss may be concerned and have the leaks fixed and the building tested.
If you have mold poisoning, your lyme treatment will not progress. Many mold symptoms are the same as Lyme symptoms. It does hit cognitive and causes fatigue and lung issues, just a few of many symptoms. It poisons your body.
I've been dealing with mold issues for the last six months, it has totally halted my TBD treatment and made my health issues worse.
If there is mold in the building you are then bringing mold spores home and in your car on your clothes and personal possessions. Now, you are contaminating other areas of your life.
One more thing.......if it is Stachybotys....that mold kills. Let your boss know that.
Sorry to be so blunt about this but mold is not to be taken lightly.

Hi Molly,
Welcome to lymenet!
So sorry that you are sick too.
Are you asking if we have recommendations for probiotics?? I wasn't sure if that was what you were asking.
You will find alot of helpful people here on lymenet.
Since you are new here and it can be confusing, I will tell you a little bit about the boards...
You can post your medical questions on the Medical Questions Board and alot more people will see them and respond...it's a much busier board.
You can post about your other needs on the General Support board...or just read and respond to others if you want to.
To go from one board to another, just scroll down until you see the words "Hop To" on the right.
Click on the drop down menu and choose the Board you want to go to.
To create your own post, just click on "Post New Topic" near the top of the page.
It takes a little while to get the hang of how the boards work, but you will.
Hope you get all the help you need and recover.
