Though I still enjoy the Holidays, they aren't the same with Lyme. This year I'm more into it, but the past few had no meaning. I had put on a cheery face and act like I was enjoying myself.

I'm trying to decide if it is more painful to be alone at Christmas because family far away, or feel rejected when they are closer. The latter, probably, because the hope is gone that people actually care. The holidays are hard.

All holidays are hard for us. All we can do is try our best and put on the "happy face" for our family and friends!
I hope the new year is better for all...

yeah putting on the old "i feel fine and all honky dory" gets old.
even the dinner out with christmas was pushing it. all the loud talking and laughing made my head pound like a mother...
new year's is being spent at home watching old movies with no company and going to bed early...
