I have not been here for a few weeks because I have not felt well and I just haven't felt like socialixing or talking to anybody outside of my immediate family. Nothing personal to anybody, I just haven't had it in me.

Last week I started feeling more like interacting with people and then on Valentine's Day my daughter's good firend killed himself, he had just recently turned 15. We have been devastated and heartbroken.

We had just taken him to dinner with us a couple of months ago, he was such a sweet, beautiful, funny, smart boy and we aren't doing very well.

I just wanted to stop in and say that I haven't checked totally out of the website. I also want to say that I don't know when I will be back so please do not be offended if I don't reply to anybody. On the other hand I might feel better coming here and "socializing", I just don't know yet.

Thank you and take care...

Down on her knees, she wept on the floor.
This hopeless life, she wanted no more.
Dead in the mind and cold to the bone,
She opened her eyes and saw she was alone. ~Seether

My heart aches for you and your family -and his family. Such a horrible experience for everyone.

Pop in when you like. That is the wonderful thing about us is you can pop in and out.

But, it is most appreciated that you wrote to tell us. We do like to know how people are doing.

Keep in touch as you can.

Again, sorry for everyone's loss.

So sorry to hear of this tragedy. Thinking of you... It will be hard for you because your daughter is going to need your support - and you need some too! These things just don't make sense. Try to be good to yourself and appreciate every moment you have with your daughter and family. My heart goes out to you.

I'm very sorry to hear this, mom2. That's got to be SO difficult for all of you. Keep a close eye on your daughter especially.

My prayer is that you and your family and the boy's family will be comforted by the Good Lord above. May His love surround you with peace.

I'm so sorry to hear that he was a close friend of your daughter and family. In case you haven't heard about it yet, there is a grief & loss support group meeting at his high school tomorrow (Thursday the 23rd) from 7-8, for parents and/or students. Future meetings may be planned if there is interest.

Again, so sorry.
