i had to go to central market to find the buhner herbs as the vitamin shoppe and no place else around had them.
when i asked the girl about where the resveratrol was and why i needed it, she told me that one woman in the store had lyme, her boyfriend had lyme and she knew of at least two others that had it.
i told her it was strange considering that there is no lyme in texas. she said they are trying to do it on their own and i told her to buy buhner's book and come here also.
i couldn't believe it -- she says there are others that she thinks have lyme too.
it's far more common than we realize...
amazing...

When anyone (especially in the med community) tells me we don't have Lyme in South Carolina, I tell them that if we didn't look for cancer, we could say we don't have cancer here. They usually get a dazed look on their face and sometimes agree, but still nothing changes here.
It's so frustrating when statistics are quoted saying Lyme isn't in a certain state!! All that is saying is that no one has diagnosed it.

Those tiny ticks are everywhere here in Southern Indiana. And I have seen them recently in places in Kentucky where I used to blissfully hike and NEVER EVER saw a tick there. But now, they have arrived there, too.
I don't think the cover-up on Lyme can last much longer, because these things are appearing in every state. So many people will be on disability that the governement will be forced to ackowledge it so that people can get well and save them disability payments.

Unless tick intelligence has greatly increased in the past 10 years so they can recognize the state line, I'd say the whole country is endemic.
