My parents have invited me to go to the beach with them for the month of April. All expenses paid.

It is about a 10-hour drive, but my mom has an SUV and I can sleep in the back :-)

Any suggestions for a Lyme patient? What should I bring? Besides all my pills ;-P

My biggest problem is overdoing it, so I'm going to try and have outings every other day at most.

They have a pool, so I'm hoping to do my light exercises in the water.

Switched out Doxy for Omicef, which is making my tummy happier, too!

Good for you, Ralphi!

Don't forget your supplements and stevia. And sun block. In the past I was never prone to sunburns, but all this time on Omnicef and I sure burn easily.

Have a blast!

And thanks for the song, Keebler; I love classy music :-)

I'm leaving too. I'm going to Aruba for three weeks. Decided I can't take it anymore.

Have EEG, MRI, and cat scan plus three drs apPt before the sixth, and have to go to Oklahoma to visit dying person on Tuesday and wednesday.

Can't fit anything else in. This trip was paid for a long time ago so hate to waste it

Need some time.

Ralphi,

We went to the beach a few years ago with the kids. I felt so much better there.

The salt water really helped my aches and pains.

Enjoy your trip!

Yea, Randi, leave hubs at home and enjoy yourself [Cool]

Thanks for the support, you all are the best!

Been on Omni a few weeks already, so I'm ready to go.

I like photography, so if I can figure out how to post a photo on here, I'll share some tropical goodness on the "Off Topic" board when I get back :-)

Screw the sunblock! Give your body the gift of some NATURAL Vitamin D!

Just handle it the old fashioned way - a little at a time until you build up tolerance.

And don't wash your skin with soap for a few hours after you have soaked up the sun! Your skin makes Vit. D on its surface oils, and then it gets absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream.

For this reason, I avoid 99% of all cosmetic creams too! Don't need those chemicals in my blood.

Have a GREAT TIME! I LOVE the Beach!
