Able to take trash out this am via upright PC, able to clean up in kitchen a bit...finally caught up and counters are clear now.
Able to do 2 loads of laundry...hoping to be able to put laundry away later.
First few hours of the morning I was hurting more than usual. But, thankfully it has let up now.
Hoping to take a shower next....
Yep. Able to take that sit down shower.

Kam-You are busting butt!!!
Kayak-Did you get that house, inquiring minds would like to know?
Well, I agreed to work the tax project this year, so I'm wearing 2 hats at my job.
In the a.m. I'm taking tax payments and other type of payments over the phone and then I do the reception job in the afternoon.
Working 9 hours a day until Friday. Then I'll work 8 or more on Sunday and 10-18 hours on Monday and Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday more than likely will be 10-12, I hope.
I need the extra money because I hired someone to move the huge woodpile in my yard that has become the home of the slithering type of critters.
Anyways, more than likely won't be walking this week but I'll check in when I can.

check out what my angels did...i was supposed to go up to the mts this morning for my neuropsyc. i left the paperwork with the loan guy and we made an appt for thrsday to sign papers. on the way to the neuro - psyc...she called to cancle cuz she had the flu!
i wasnt far into the trip but so lucky i was late and i hadnt gotten to the part of the mts with no cell coverage or i would have wasted all that gas-up and then back again.
thats only half of the good news...i called the loan guy and he toldme to come in at 3(instead of thursday). we did the papers and the rates were down from 4.875 to 4.125!!!
wow...did i luck out.
i mean...stuff could still happen...but it is really looking good...keep the positive thoughts coming!!!
im confused...i thought this thread was longer...i guess that was last week...hope tutu's feet are better
im scrunched into a pretzle at macdonalds to get internet. i wont be able to do this for long. i'm staying one more night and my brother is coming down tomorrowto "inspect" the house. and my friends nephew a plumber will also look at it-but its kinda a joke cuz his dad built it!!!
hope you are all well...i'll be back when i can sit normal. tanks for thinking of me.

Geez, Kam, you're way ahead of me. I need to catch up with laundry.
Alaska, sounds like a mighty busy week for you. Hey, those slithery guys make themselves right at home. Last summer, somebody decided to my garage was a great place to change clothes. I opened the garage door to find a perfect little snakesuit that had been shed, complete with little eye holes.
Kayak, the stars are alligning for you. I'm so excited about your house. Sending more positive vibes your way!
Tutu, how are you feeling this week?
I'm starting physical therapy on my arm this Thursday. And now, back to the couch with my heating pad...

Back to square ONE.
He also wanted me to buy a paraffin wax spa for my feet. Now THAT I like! Great for hands too.
Kayak.. you need this! $40 at WalMart. $30 online, but I don't know how much for shipping.

I was really behind in my laundry too so it is good to kind of catch up...I think 2 more loads might do it.

My brake light came on while driving home today. So friday after work I'm going to drop off my car at the mechanic that I use that works out of his home.
It seems like almost every weekend my car is there.
Looks like after I pay off the guy to haul off my woodpile the rest of my extra hard earned money is going to the mechanic.
Kayak-That's a great interest rate. I'm at 6 and wish mine was lower. Keep us posted!
Jimmy1-Eeewwww! Eye holes! That just creeped me out! But like Kam said, thankfully it was just the skin!
TuTu-Do you think your feet are effecting your neck and back too? When your feet hurt it sure makes life miserable. I had to wear inserts for a couple years myself. My feet used to hurt like crazy. Hey, have you tried an Epsom salt soak for your feet? I think I did that and got some relieve. Hope your footsies get better soon!
Kam-I so much wanted to have some down time on Saturday so keep your fingers crossed for me. I know I'm overdoing it but I sure need the extra cash. You take care of you too!

Tutu, I sooo want one of those paraffin spa thingies for skin treatment. I had no idea that it's therapeutic, too. So many cool bonuses!
ALW, well, I did eventually meet the slinky. I shant bore you all with the story, as we're supposed to be talking about exercise. Course, there was a bit of jumping involved ...
I need to take it easy today, for tomorrow is a big day. Planning to ride my bike to first physical therapy appointment. I always seem to get sicker when I do a lot of physical stuff, but I'm determined to do something that makes me feel like me. So there.
Have a good day, everybody!

2 more loads of laundry.
I thought I was caught up until I recalled I had 2 bedspreads and a comforter that still needed washing.
Cold out this am. Yesterday I had the windows open at this time. This morning I went out in what I had on yesterday to toilet Rosie.
It is going to take me an hour to thaw out.
Jimmy...it is tricky finding a balance with PT. I had to conserve my energy use just for PT.
I also would get sick with over doing it.
Good luck finding your limits or balance.
tutu...ooh ah..makes me hurt just reading about it.

Have you guys ever thought of getting some kind of back support to help??
Sometimes I wonder if that would help??
I went to the pharmacy too and they said it would be 10 min to fill the prescription..I was in too much pain to wait around for 10 min.
Most of it was back pain but whole body was weak. I was in the upright pC

Yes, you put your feet or hands in the wax. It's a little hot, but after you dip it a few times, it eases up.
I plan to do my hands in a bit. Already did the feet. It's a hassle for me, but I pray it helps.
Take care all!!

u guys are doing so much.
i signed the papers today. my brother inspected the carpenter parts of the house. he found a few things we can fix later. he says it is fine.
i have a plumber and electrician coming monday night. i really want the elec to check for dirty elec etc. the breaker box is on the main floor(good -so i dont have to do stairs to turn it off -but bad cuz it is closer to me)
i feel like i should study up on the elec stuff...the meters and stufff...but i am so exhausted i think i need to just collapse for now.
im mad the realtor did not take the scented things out of the elec sockets. i told him i was so allergic to them. he refuses and it makes me think he is hiding mold under the rug. but my brother looked really close and really doesnt think there is.
but it is off the market...they should not be showing it...so why wont they they take the smelly things out...it bugs me
but im really tired and grouchy now.

Just returned from physical therapy, and a five mile round trip bike ride there and back ... I'm toast.
I mentioned before that the orthopedic specialist was totally cool about my Lyme. Well, today at physical therapy, my therapist was also totally cool. She is quite familiar with it and sees at least 4 or 5 patients a year with Lyme.
While biking home, I ran into my neighbor and another gentleman out for a walk. Stopped and chatted, and low and behold the other gentleman (also a neighbor, but we hadn't met) had Lyme disease, and is now feeling well. What are the odds?
He had Bell's palsy and other complications. Caught it early and got treatment, and feels great now. It was interesting talking with him, and my other neighbor certainly gained some knowledge while we two Lymies chatted it up.
I'm feeling less and less like an outcast.
My husband has been phenominal during this ordeal. He watched Under Our Skin when I first started having problems, as did his mother, daughter and son-in-law, my mother, and my sister and brother-in-law. We're all in different parts of the country, but they all call and email regularly, and are so supportive. I am blessed.
When I explained to some business associates that I had some limitations in doing a project, they were completely understanding - one having been educated in Connecticut, the other, raised in England on a sheep ranch, where a wariness of Lyme was part of daily life.
I really am feeling less and less isolated, and more and more supported and understood.
My hope is that all of us on LymeNet can feel accepted and understood, and comfortable in our skin.

around the blk w/B&B in LL PC, had short one sentence coversations, (unusual for me to be able to do this ..not sure why it is working lately but know this thing cycles,
rested an hr, then out to the trailhead. I did the 10 min loop resting half way.
B&B went down the dirt road, more difficult to have someone in the car with me but did OK
Lupine are starting to bloom in the forest and there were a couple of birds at the rest stop this time. Usually it is very quiet in the forest.
Enjoyed the sound of the birds...espcially one of them
Hmmm...I would be concerned about the scented things even if I did not have a problem with smells.
Get some rest Kayak...whewph...so stressful when purchasing a home
ALW..one of these days I will add a back brace or support..most likely willl be one of those things I wish I had done a lot earlier.
the lady I went to the forest with has difficulty walking..
I named her walk a while back but can't recall what I called it now...
I have names for my different walks too
But she has her feet about a yard a part and is bent over. She move one leg and then the other.
Stops while she is bent over to catch her breath..and then goes a few more inches.
She actually walked quite a way today. I drove the car to pick her up once I got back.
She has an oxygen tank on her power chair.
I know there are small oxygen set ups she might be able to use.
Guessing she is not on her feet enough to try them at this point.

so...things got a little squirrelly-including realtor saying i couldnt bring in electrician for inspection...and taking 2 ticks off etta and her acting wierd like there was something in cellar so i was afraid to go to sleep last night til dawn this morning...
all is sorted out-i told realtor i would walk away and now i get my inspections and he went right over to the house and took all the smelly things out
ive been comparing home owners ins---wow-big difference in each company...
doped etta up and combed her real good-used a muzzle...im not in any mood to fool around right now...didnt find anymore ticks but we are both back on doxy and all sleeping places are sprayed
my brother checked cellar...no homeless person or raccoon or even a mouse...not sure what she was smelling
i hope i can calm down and relax now-i really need to sleep
i am putting energy into studying emfs and other electrical issues so i can be sure this new house will be a safe, healthy place for me

ALW, my brake light has been on a long time. I went to the mechanic and they said they fixed the brakes.
But, a week or two later it went back on. I have yet to return due to health and lack of funds to deal with it.
The brakes work. Someone said it was a waste to put on new breaks if they don't route ? ...I know what they were talking about from many years ago...but brain doesn't work well enough now.
I have yet to find a mechanic in this area that I like. There is one more for me to try next time it is needed.
Around the blk this am via the power chair with leg lifts. Very sore. Body in more pain than norm.
Have a good Friday all. Hoping Dr. Phil show does a good job with lyme disease issues.

Bad news is ...it will not work. No rain fly. Zipper doesn't work for entry way. It needs a family to put it up.

TGIF!!! I still have to work the weekend but I don't go in until 12 noon! Yeah!
Kayak-Hope you and Etta are ok. It kinda freaks me out when Rocky hears something I don't. A couple of times he'd start barking in the middle of the night and it would really worry me. Stay safe.
Kam-I'm using a guy that works out of his home and so far he's been great. But awhile back I ran over a gallon of paint and it's messed up my car. I'm taking it back over to him tonight right after work. Hope he can fix it. It's leaking brake fluid and oil still.
Well all, I've been to busy to exercise and I haven't been eating to healthy. But the tax deadline is the 17th and after that things should get back to normal.
See you all later!

Ah, Kayak, a good night's sleep is a gift, isn't it. Last night I slept with the heating pad on my arm, and it did help a bit with the pain. I have to say the Celebrex isn't doing a thing, but we'll keep giving it the old college try.
Kam - an April snow? Yipes. We sure do need some rain down here in normally dampish Florida. It's way too dry. What a crazy year this has been.
I need to go forage for food. Back later...

Survived a short trip to the dog park and then the grocery store.
Didn't get much at the store. Odwalla protein drinks to help get the pills down.
And frozen fruit to put in my plain goat's milk yogurt.
I did get hummas. They had two brands. Athena and Sabra. I could not recall which brand was mentioned.
got the sabra garlic.
I did not run over the box boy(who at WM is a sr citizen) after he loaded my groceries in the car and got in the electric cart.
I am getting better at waiting for him to clear away. That is a good sign. HA!
The brain was not working well enough to take in what I had spent nor what I have left for the month.
But, I did keep the receipt so I can take a look at it when able.
Resting now...then hoping to eat. I did not put out the frozen fruit to defrost. I need to do that after I rest a bit.
I saw lots of electronics I liked. Flat screen TV's, DVD player or maybe it was blue ray, cell phone, ipad.
But, they all wanted money. Dang.
