when you sign this, if you type a reason why you're signing, what you write goes straight to Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Charles Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Senators Schumer and Gillibrand.
Pretty awesome! Storm this like we did Dr. Phil's comments We made our voice heard there, this is possible with senators as well, and they have the capability to bring change!

- Everyone, please WAIT. These petitions may not be what we think they are. Or they may, but we have to be sure first.
The poster, Wintertree, has not yet been able to answer questions in either of these requests. Hope Wintertree will be back.
Tincup has very important questions about this request over in ACTIVISM:
Topic: Only 44 signatures on the whitehouse petition. PLEASE sign!!! -

- LymeDisease.org has a different advocacy measure that has more specific wording. They are an established and respected organization: --------------------------
Time for Lyme; Lyme Disease Association; Turn the Corner Foundation; local and state groups; -

I'm sorry, wintertree, but I have to question all the many recent posts you've made here, asking members to answer polls, sign petitions, including (in some cases) to provide personally identifiable information -- especially when the authorship and sponsorship of some of these petitions appears questionable.
The intent, the lack of disclosure of the ultimate recipient of the information, the seemingly arbitrary deadlines and arbitrary numbers of petitioners required, is nebulous and cryptic at best, and might even be construed to some as downright predatory due to the personal information that is being requested and how it is being requested.
If I am wrong about the intent, then I will gladly stand corrected.
Petitions can have a good result sometimes -- they are a great form of gesture politics, I think. However, this Lyme War will probably ultimately be won not only in the Legislative branch of Government, but also in the Judicial branch, at State AND Federal levels.
You've posted so many requests for various petitions, polls, comments in a short span of time -- it almost seems like it's spam.
I just feel the need to ask whether or not your pleas and many posts (and double posts) are a result of enthusiasm or whether there is a darker purpose behind them.
