For you old enough to remember, the TV show "Dallas" went off the air after 13 seasons in the early 1990's. That's about the same time the IDSA appeared and started biting and kicking us.
My opinion is that JR Ewing retired and was replaced by the IDSA guideline authors. I've never seen such evil before as was JR in the show Dallas, except for the guideline authors. Have you?
Soooooooooooooooooooooo....
Now that Dallas is being brought back, does that mean the IDSA IDiots will retire?

BTW- Dallas is scheduled to return on June 13, 2012 on TNT. And my claim to fame was I knew who shot JR, it wasn't a mystery to me! I guessed right!

Awwww,,,, Dallas was one of my fav shows back then.
Its hay days were in mid to later 80's. It was a good night time soap vs a daytime one with half commercials
Cant imagine the new one will be much good,,,they usually butcher the show. Is JR's brother , Patrick Duffy still around? The original characters have to be OLD by now

HA! You made me laugh out loud! Funny ones you are!
I HOPE they don't mess it up!!! I so loved to hate JR!!!
And it will be nice, since the IDSA is fade, fade, fading away, to have someone DECENT to hate again! Well, compared to the IDSA- JR is decent!
hehehehehehehehehe
My little ones and I would have a family night each week on Friday evening. We would eat fun food for supper that we'd cook together and make a big mess of the kitchen, usually something made from "wild plants" or something unusual. It was our "learning about nature's bounty night".
Then for the BIG excitement we would all gather round the TV - with our favorite ICE CREAM (only once a week treat)...
To watch the Duke Boys, Boss Hog, Enis, Roscoe P. Coaltrain, Daisy Duke, Uncle Jessie and the rest of the gang. Of course we all danced around the living room during the theme song and sang with Waylon and pretended to play the guitar too. How silly we were!
This was the only time we were allowed to watch TV. I bought a TV back then JUST to watch the Duke Boys.
Well, after the Duke Boys went off, it was off to bed for everyone, but me. That's when I did dishes and Dallas would come on, and I got hooked.
After Dallas was over I would go to work and earn money to pay for the TV and all that ice cream. Boy, I sure miss those days.

I preferred the Dallas sendup with Carol Burnett called "Fresno". Does anyone remember seeing that?
