I am waiting on lyme, bartonella, and babesia test results from my LLMD. I had to go to my regular PCP doc yesterday - the one who has not diagnosed my hell in the last 5 years.


I told him that I hope I've finally found the answer, that I'm undergoing lyme testing. First, he rolled his eyes. Then he reminded me, again, that 50% of people with my symptoms (he keeps focusing on the exhaustion and seems deaf when I mention the agonizing pain and illness) never get diagnosed with what is wrong.


I felt like saying "No sh*t Sherlock! Why are you rolling your eyes about me getting tested for lyme?!?!?!" As annoying as it is, I acutally LOL'ed about it once I left the office. Why are they so darn stubborn and ignorant?!

Ignorance breeds contempt. PCP is ignorant (doesn't know). However, stupid means, "don't care" ask him which one he wants to be?
