Thanks TuTu for starting this week's thread.
Sunday-Puttered around the yard with my spray jug of weed killer and attacked weeds. Tried to figure out how to build small ramp into pen but found out I need more 2x4's.
So a slow weekend and glad to be back at work.
Oh, one load of laundry and that's about it.....

Taking it easy today after over doing it this weekend but worth every minute. I made seven practice skydives with my teammates and attended one heck of a BBQ afterward.
I introduced my oldest daughter to pineapple salsa and we polished off most of the jar in one sitting (with gluten free crackers of course).
Dog was walked and laundry/dishes done....Time to relax for the night!

Stuck flat in bed with this fractured pelvis, unable to walk at all. Ugh. Adding insult to injury. No, wait, maybe it's adding injury to insult. Hmm... Anyway, hubby just went to pick up a wheelchair so we can get to the doctor's tomorrow.
I did, however, accomplish something today. Did some writing for a professional piece. So let's say I exercised my fingers!

Hope you are feeling better, jimmy. Is the pain going down any?
I can barely walk myself. Not quite where YOU are though!! I will need a wheelchair when I get to my podiatrist's clinic. It's a big place. Crazy that you have to walk 50 yds to get to the PODIATRIST'S office.

Walked Rocky around the back of the property.
Down in the dumps, having personal problems with S/O.
Fatherguido-BBQ and pineapple salsa sound like heaven. Sky diving sounds super exciting too.
TuTu-Hope you get some relief at the podiatrist's office.
Just Don-Wish I could help but I don't have a clue.
Jimmy1-When I fractured my pelvis laying flat helped me so much. I know it's hard to do but it'll help. Hope you recover real soon.
Later gang!

i cant believe how much some of you do.
i dragged 4 totes out to the shed. they are repacked and labled. i built a desk out of empty totes to check my accounts and see how much money i dont have.
some laundry, a shower...yea!!! and threw ettas skunk for a while.
the brain stuff was talking to the cable company to get tv and net working again. also learning about cork, bamboo and concrete floors.
im tired but hope i can finish up a few piles that are left. its gonna be high 90s for 2 days and i dont have ac and really have troubles with heat so i dont really want to have to do anything tomorrow. except maybe crash in camper and put ac on there.

Kind of out of it...but wanted to do something so put two loads of laundry in.
Put Rosie's dog bed and cover out to air out and dry.
Not sure if that is when she got out of the house without me knowing it. Guessing yes.
not sure how long she had been outdoors.
The caregiver asked me where she was.
That is when I learned she was not in the apartment.
Went around the apartment complex once in my big boy power chair. Didn't see her.
Checked the apartment again. She didn't come when I called at the door of the apartment.
So, started to head out again looking for her.
A neighbor caught up with me and told me she was in the back of the apartments.
Whewph. Relief. He helped me get her. She likes to chase the wild cats back there.
Guessing his dog let him know Rosie was back there. His dog was barking at the window when we were back there.
I had forgotten how i need to not do things when I am so out of it like that.
resting now.
My mind wants to go camping. But, I know that is not realistic.
First thing I need to do when able is get food.
And see what it is going to cost to get the bedspreads that have been in my car for a long time washed at the big laundry mat in town.
I need to do laundry too and a list of other things.
Can't go camping even if I was able to with this heat.
I need to wait until it is cooler.

I need to ask for help with household chores but am dragging my feet on this.
I also need someone who just comes and gets the job done independently and quietly.

very hot. my oldest called to say happy b'day and said he was sending me a new coffee maker. i need one. i slept good...but it was impaooible to keep the house cool. 100 out...90 in. i fooled around getting empty totes into the truck to go north this weekend. oh...and took the garbage out for the first time here.
then i unpacked a bunch or meds and poured them for the week. a friend came over to play with etta. i picked her brain about heart attacks. my left chest pain has been getting worse . last night it felt like my heart was a fish jumping. is this chest muscles spasm or something?
i guess i should give in and have another stress test.
its getting dark. maybe its cool enough outside to open windows now.

Kayak- does your new house have forced air furnace system???Complete with hot and cold air ducts hidden inside the walls?
If not a window ac would take edge off,,,with fans to create a breeze. Window air isnt expensive new and about half price of that used.
NO air conditioning is not an option.
It has been over 100 here already with heat indexs in the 110 plus range.
Down south they get alot of actual 110 or so temps,,,,now doesnt that make you FEEL cooler already!!!!
Hope Kam and TuTu are feeling well today!!!

TGIF!!!
Friday-Walked Rocky 2 separate times around the back of the property. Packed up for the overnighter and ran errands before work.
Well, I bit the bullet and bought a used non-electric stair climber at the Salvation Army store today.
I'll drop it off at home tonight when I pick up Rocky.
Wish me luck!
TuTu-Fajitas sound delish!!! Me and the neph are crazy about Mexican food. Alas, it'll be our downfall I'm sure.
JD-I know when my central air went out I put in 3 window units. My power bill is alot lower because I don't heat/cool the whole double-wide anymore.
Kayak-Hope the heart issues get better with the supplements. I've got some heart issues too but I still don't know what it is. Like Just Don magnesium helps me alot but I've still got the flutter thing going on.
Anyways, gang, hope you all have a great weekend. I'm gonna pig out and watch some movies.

its too hot here. and one air quality issue after another. i was using window fan to bring in cool air and woke up at 5 with the room filled with smoke. at the time i couldnt tell what it was...i can hardly walk in the morning. or think. i got the window closed and figured out the north and west windows all had a smoky smell. but it wasnt smoky inside. still it was too hot for no fan.
i went to the camper and ac worked good but there has been a chemical smell there too...i slept for an hr but then the smell seemed stronger so came back to house.
smoke was gone...i have tried to get ready for move tomorrow but it is abo e 90 out and 85 in and i can hardly do anything.
i took supps right and no heart problems. i talked to my brother and he said if i had to i could take out the carpet and put a good quality low voc paint on the particle board and it would keep it clean and i could assess any moisture issues...sounds like a good idea to me. the more flooring guys i talk to the more confused i get
i need to find where to buy eco friendly building supplies here...online i can only find them in england
ok-had my 15 min rest...need to try to do somethng else
im praying for t-storms tonight

Very uncomfortable here. the fans under my front room window are too loud now and the neighbor above me is running her ceiling fan.
That flashes a light pattern on my ceiling in the front room.
I don't recall thsi being a problem last summer.
But, it is too much this summer. Thankfull I got that used TV at the thrift shop and have it in my bedroom.
Still not comforatable tho...nothingo n TV either
maybe I need to try coQ10 again...it has been awhile since I took that
Scary to go into a fib without it tutu

It's only in the upper 80's here. I actually got out to help hubby find things I needed from Walgreen's.. plus pick up a prescription for Lyrica. Hope that helps.
My feet are now officially "done in" for the day.

Hey there, kayak! Good to see you! Hope all goes well with the move. Glad you're feeling a bit better too!
I started Lyrica on Tuesday (had a trial run of meds) and this morning when I got up was the first time in WEEKS that I didn't feel like I was walking on glass shards. ARRGGHHH
I hope it's not just a fluke!
Feet hurt, of course, but I made it to rehearsal at church. Now, if I can just make it to church tomorrow I'll be a happy camper!
kayak... good to keep that little Etta in line!
Hope jimmy and kam are OK...
