It's so hot and dry that the buy 5 for .99 corn bin had only 2 whole ears of corn. The rest were those funny drought looking half ears. [shake]

saw where cows were giving dehydrated milk.

Then saw racoons heading to the sweetcorn patch,,,,with lunch boxes.

Heard two trees were fighting over "Maddog"

Weather said a cold front moved thru yesterday,,,it did,,,was only 100 degrees out,,,,true story there.

Another true story---couple days ago it was so hot and dry the fly's were somehow crawling thru my sliding glass door. If it leaks flies in summer,,,cant wait for winter

Please explain "hot" and "dry" to those of us in the Pacific NW. We do not know these words.

Off to wring out my fleece and scrape the mud off my boots for another cold, wet day.

Ahhhhh...July.

We've got a high today of 115 so yeah, not planning on staying out much! I have to water what little grass we have for 1 hr in the mornings and it's still turning yellow. Of course the weeds are green!
I need to go to grocery store so I'll be heading off soon for that. I won't risk going after noon. When I get out in the afternoons I am soaked in sweat from just getting in and out of car and store.

I look like I've been out digging ditches or something, like that's even a possibility.

This little "hellhole" of a town is always the hot spot of anywhere around here..yes, we are that lucky..

Anyway, to another day of surviving the heat!! cheers~

Last Saturday I came out of the grocery store. It was hot and such a change of temperature. I wiped my forehead and a young lady rushed up to me and asked if I needed help, I didn't look so good.

I thanked her and said it was just so hot.

I think it was because I had forgot "mother's law"
I did not have lipstick on....

I am over the heat now.

People alway say, "I won't move to Florida, too hot and humid".

I guess Florida is starting to look good, about now. Best thing is south Florida doesn't get snow !!

Low 90's, breezes and daily afternoon showers.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. [Big Grin]

Our dogs can pee where ever they want.

We just returned from vacation in Florida. High 80's and a breeze along with it - just beautiful.

Back to reality, landlocked and 100 degrees. [Frown]

Yeah, it was "hot" here - the sun was out. That was before the fog came in.

I think to get away from all your heat, y'all should plan a N CA visit, now!
