there was an old post from years ago that gave home remedies etc for common afflictions like skin tags, cracked mouth corners,
other common afflictions too. Alot were minor vitamin adjustments and otc supplements NOT RX stuff
It was quite lengthy and covered alot of ground.
Anybody else old timer like me remember this golden oldie? Where to 'look' for same.
My main concern right now is the dry cracks in corners of my mouth. They occurred after repeated dental visits to get all teeth pulled and dentures placed.
Long hours where mouth was stretched past breaking. Thought once everything healed and winter was over where dry house is common it would resolve,,,it doesnt
any suggestions???

That might be due to a Vitamin B deficiency.
When I began taking a good B multi, it not only fixed the cracks in the corners of my mouth, but also my numb feet.

An abundance of moisture often contributes to the formation of cracks at the corners of the mouth. It can be a result of dentures which can break down the skin and bring on an infection that causes 'angular cheilitis'. Angular cheilitis can also come from deficiencies in vitamin B-12 and vitamin B-9 (folate).
Topically, a lot of folks say to use a hydrocortisone cream, but naturally speaking, you can try applying a good moisturizer like Shea butter, coconut oil or jojoba oil - and mix in a few drops of a quality tea tree oil and/or lavender oil (both are antifungals).
Best to you.
