...that all of you are suffering with this horrible disease. It's not pity, but it is a pity you have to suffer w/o the support of doctors, friends and/or family members.
I am one of you........and could have used this message today. It was a bad one, but I've had worse. Not many better for years.
So to all of my tickborne disease friends, at least one person today said to you how unfair this illness is and how gd strong you must really be to live one day after the other, one step in front of the other, one minute after the other.
You are truly champions, b/c I can assure you, none of those who question your illness, tell you they have similar symptoms but it's just age, etc... THEY COULD NOT WALK ONE DAY IN YOUR SHOES!
Bravo! Stay strong, b/c you are the strongest people I know.

Such a teary day today....
I thought, once again,I was over the TBI hump. Had a few months of feeling like a normal person, professional and athlete.
Now I am diving into the lyme trenches again and wonder just how many times I can do this..I guess as many times as I have to.
But your message was well taken.. I could never imagine "friends" or family members having such an understanding of what we all go through.
I know sometimes we need to give ourselves that which we need but do not get from others.

Thanks for this! Everyone needs a little reassurance that we are not going nuts with all the naysayers that surround us. This is truly appreciated by me for sure. Sometimes it feels you are all alone in this terrible struggle. Chins up guys, we are not alone!
